Abstract: A method of managing purchasing contracts between a supplier entity and a customer entity for the purchase of ticket products includes the step of generating a purchasing contract between the two entities. The generated contract is applicable to ticketing transactions effected through a computerized system and, which, effect a ticket purchase by the customer entity. Contract terms are identified which are defined by term attributes then, a term data set of the term attributes associated with each contract term is stored in a computer database. Furthermore, transaction data relating to purchasing transactions are collected and also stored in a computer database. A computer program is executed to identify purchasing transactions as contracted transactions (i.e., applicable to a contract) by selecting a portion of the transaction data for a transaction and comparing this portion with the term attributes for a contract term.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for data collection, evaluation, information generation and/or presentation. More particularly the present invention relates to a system for collecting, evaluating, and presenting data relating to electronic commerce. The system and methods of the present invention include one or more of the following: a module for stabilizing small or noisy samples of data, including the prediction of missing observations; alarm modules that alert an event handler when data values and/or rates cross specified thresholds; predictor modules that use recent historical data along with an estimated and/or available population function as the basis for a differential equation that defines the growth of the population to a saturation or maximum attainable level; and a dynamic icon that conveys to users of a system levels of predefined and/or observed activity occurring on the system.
Abstract: A system comprised of hardware, software and business processes for developing an optimal custom farm management plan, and in particular, a single year or multi-year crop selection, acreage allocation, and resource management strategies for production agriculture. The method uses mathematical programming and sensitivity analysis to help the user determine optimal allocations of controllable resources such as land, capital, labor, water, machinery, and chemicals in the context of farm management objectives. The system allows the import of data and information relating to the farm and data and information from third party industry professionals and sources, thereby providing for a complete analysis based on these parameters.
Abstract: Methods and systems for analyzing the success of a marketing campaign by using campaign results and an original campaign database are disclosed. The method includes the steps of profiling results of the marketing campaign against a list of user defined dimensions (analytic models may be used to derive dimensions) and assigning a score to the results of the marketing campaign.
Abstract: A data structure and software systems for modeling a business are disclosed. The data structure is formed of a constellation of data structures termed Business Execution and Analysis Models (BEAMs). Each of these BEAMs is formed of one or more hierarchies and/or dimensions that express a collection of business scenarios. Each hierarchy has a name and includes two or more levels. A lineage relationship exists between the levels in the hierarchy, wherein the hierarchy has a tree-like structure. One or more cross-link relationships may be provided between levels of two hierarchies, wherein each cross-link relationship defines a business rule or a business constraint. Each BEAM may include one or more dimensions which have one or more cross-link relationships between the hierarchies. One or more business perspectives may be provided, wherein the business perspective is a template of a multidimensional query into the data.
Abstract: A process for scheduling the travel of trains on a rail corridor. The rail corridor includes a plurality of siding tracks onto which trains can be sided when a meet or pass occurs with another train on the corridor. A gradient search process is used with a cost function to determine the optimum schedule by moving each meet and pass to a siding. The individual train schedules are varied by changing train speed and/or the train departure time (i.e., the time at which the train enters the corridor).
Abstract: A system for facilitating interaction between businesses, independent delivery agents, and customers. The system includes a customer product order interface that receives customer product orders as input and provides a first signal in response thereto. The customer product orders are associated with a predetermined business. A look-up system for selects an independent delivery agent to deliver a product to the customer in response to the first signal and with reference to a distance between said delivery agent, the customer, and the business, and provides a second signal in response thereto. A delivery agent order delivery system for provides the selected delivery agent with a delivery order based on the customer product order in response to the second signal.
Abstract: A method for optimizing request shipping within a plurality of distributed networked computer systems holding a distributed application the usage of which realizes a process model underlying said application is proposed in which said process model comprises a business process consisting of a plurality of activities to be performed on said application systems by a plurality of users, including shipping of activity requests between a local application system owning said business process and a plurality of remote application systems performing said activities with the help of a plurality of users.
The basic idea is to optimize the assignment of the users to the appropriate application system in such a way that the number of remote work item requests is optimized. The inventional method can be advantageously applied to workflow management systems.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for predicting visitor traffic to a network of web site pages. The systems and methods are used, as an example, to predict the inventory of total available online advertisements available within the network for a forthcoming period. The visitor traffic includes page viewing, listening or transacting on web pages within a web site, wherein the web pages are categorized by subject, interest areas or specific user queries such as word or phrase searches. For each page whose traffic is being predicted, the system takes into account annual seasonality, day-of-week, holidays, special events, short histories, user demographics, user web behavior (viewing, listening and transacting) and parent and child web page characteristics.

Abstract: A standardized information management system for use in long-term residence facilities continually collects and manages all direct-care information related to both the clients and staff of the facility. The collection and management of this information is standardized to create consistency, stability, and improvement in the care, tracking and teaching of the clients of the facility. To facilitate this standardization, the information management system breaks activities and duties down into a set of defined duties, each of which represent a unit of assignable work that involves a client, a staff member or both. The step-by-step tasks that comprise a given duty are individually definable using a standardized database process. Duties may be clustered together to form activities. Activities are scheduled on a daily basis based on staff availability and qualifications and appropriateness to client needs and preferences. A comprehensive plan for each client is created by the daily schedule of activities.
Abstract: A method of providing workload-management in a Workflow-Management-System (WFMS) includes a first method of automatically determining at least one enclave-graph within a process-model of a Workflow-Management-System (WFM), and a second method of executing the enclave-graphs. The method comprises an enclave-creation-step wherein if control-flow enters the enclave graph a first time, the WFMS creates a workload-management-enclave in the WLM on behalf of activities which are part of the enclave-graph. The method can comprise an enclave-join-step wherein the WFMS joins an activity of the enclave-graph to the workload-management-enclave in the WLM on behalf of the activity. Moreover the method can comprise an enclave-deletion-step for deleting the workload-management-enclave on behalf of the activities.

Abstract: A method for sending and receiving information between a vehicle data processing system and a resource data system via a wireless communication system is provided wherein the vehicle data processing system comprises a vehicle computer for generating an intelligent software agent and operating a data engine for processing information and identifying needed information. Information needed by the data engine is identified which is available from the resource data system. The intelligent software agent is generated within the vehicle computer based on the needed information wherein the intelligent software agent comprises software routines which collect an information packet when propagated to the resource data system. The intelligent software agent is transmitted to the resource data system via the wireless communication system. The software routines are executed within the resource data system to produce the information packet.
