  • Patent number: 6163084
Abstract: A cable branching unit which enables the exchange of signals through normal cables without suspending the power supply even when a short mode fault is caused in a cable branching from the cable branching unit. The cable branching unit branches a first cable into a second and a third cable and comprises a band pass filter for extracting a control signal multiplexed among signals transmitted from the first land station through the first cable, and a relay short circuits, to a ground, one or both of the cable connected to the second land station and the cable connected to the third land station, according to the control signal extracted by the band pass filter.

  • Patent number: 6163087
Abstract: A power supplying system includes a switching control circuit connected to a stand-by power source so as to receive electrical power therefrom. The switching control circuit is further connected to a power-supplying unit and is activated to control operation of the power-supplying unit in a selected one of an ON state, where the power-supplying unit supplies electrical power for operating a heat-dissipating fan, and an OFF state, where the power-supplying unit ceases to supply the electrical power to the heat-dissipating fan.

  • Patent number: 6160320
Abstract: A method of controlling the load in an electric circuit by means of detecting the time state of same frequency of alternating current sine wave and alternating current square wave, which includes the step of picking up a half cycle wave signal, then attenuating the picked up half cycle wave signal and shaping the signal into a pulse wave signal, the step of chopping the picked up half cycle wave signal and shaping the signal into a square wave signal and then delayed the square wave signal, the step of comparing the rising edge of the square wave signal with the descending edge of the pulse signal so as to obtain a time difference, and the step of controlling the load of the electric circuit by means of a first control mode if the voltage level of the time difference thus obtained is at low potential, or by means of a second control mode if the voltage level of the time difference thus obtained is at high potential.

  • Patent number: 6144117
Abstract: An apparatus for sending a plurality of switching signals to a switching device for sequentially switching the position of an injection gate of a injection molding machine is provided. The apparatus is utilized for molding a work piece in a mold during a molding cycle from a first closed position, to a first open position, to second closed position, to a second open position and then to a third closed position. The switching signals are indicative of one of the open position and the closed position. The apparatus is to be hand carried by a machine operator. The apparatus includes a body. The body is hand carriable by a machine operator. The apparatus also includes a first input conduit and a second input conduit. The first input conduit is operably associated with the body for receiving a first switching signal indicative of a desire to switch the position of the injection gate.

  • Patent number: 6140716
Abstract: An apparatus for sending a switching signal to a switching device for switching the position of an injection gate of a injection molding machine for molding a work piece in a mold during a molding cycle between an open position and a closed position is provided. The switching signal is indicative of one of the open position and the closed position. The apparatus is to be hand carried by a machine operator. The apparatus includes a frame including a portion thereof for gripping by the operator and a power supply operably associated with the frame. The apparatus also includes a timer operably associated with the frame. The timer is operably connectable to the power supply for receiving an initiation signal from the injection molding machine indicative of the initiation of the molding cycle and for generating the switching signal in response to the initiation signal.
