Abstract: A method includes receiving a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) advertising message from a user interface (UI) device. The method includes, responsive to a receipt of the BLE advertising message from the UI device: waking up an application module of the first wireless device and authorizing the UI device to remotely control media presentation as presented by the application module. The method includes determining a first determination of whether the first wireless device is paired or is in a current cabled connection with an electronic device that is distinct from the UI device; and in accordance with the first determination being a determination that the first wireless device is not paired with the electronic device and is not in a current cabled connection with the electronic device, automatically terminating the authorization of the UI device to remotely control media presentation as presented by the application module.

Abstract: Example systems and methods for interacting with overlapping regions of interest (ROIs) in machine vision applications are disclosed. An example system includes a machine vision camera, and a client computing device coupled to the machine vision camera. The client computing device configured to: receive an image from the machine vision camera; present the image on a canvas, wherein the canvas is part of a first user interface of a machine vision application displayed on the client computing device; present a first ROI associated with a first machine vision tool on the canvas; present a second ROI associated with a second machine vision tool on the canvas; and target the first ROI or the second ROI as a targeted ROI for interaction based upon distances from a pointer displayed on the canvas to features of the first ROI and the second ROI.

Abstract: Programs, systems, and methods for generating electronic reports by a single-action electronic reporting system are described herein. In some embodiments, electronic reporting documents may be generated based on a configuration file. The configuration file may be editable by the user such that the user may select report data types and cumulation data types to be applied to the configuration file for a particular sub-application format. All personnel data associated with employees of a company may be stored such that the personnel data may be accessed and obtained by the single-action electronic reporting system. The user may define the data types, the cumulation data types, and the sub-application for output and presentation of the data.

Abstract: The exemplary embodiments may provide a software tool that enables a software designer to derive a color from a reference color. The software designer may specify changes in color characteristics that are to be applied to the reference color to derive the desired color. The user interface may be provided to allow the software designer to enter information regarding the reference color and the desired changes in color characteristics. The user interface may display the reference color and that resulting desired color so that the software designer may get a visual appreciation for the difference in the colors. The software tool of the exemplary embodiments may also include a color palette generator. The color palette generator may generate a palette of colors from a reference color.

Abstract: A widget management service may analyze messages (e.g., email messages or other electronic messages) to determine clusters of similar messages, such as messages based on a common template or otherwise having high levels of similarity to one another. Within these message clusters, the widget management service may analyze messages to determine unique content (e.g., content that differs across messages) for extraction and presentation in widgets in the graphical user interface.

Abstract: A menu selection technique is based on orientation of a companion module used in a flexible load management (FLM) system. The FLM system includes a load center that utilizes circuit breakers in combination with companion modules (i.e., intelligent controllers). Each companion module has a graphical display as well as a push button included on a face of the module as an input device used to display and input information including icons, buttons, controls, messages, status, menus or other desired text on a user interface (UI) to enable a user to configure and operate the companion module. The companion module also includes an accelerometer configured to detect a gravitational orientation (i.e., a first orientation and an opposite or upside-down orientation) and movement of the module and, in response, generate a signal that is translated to a corresponding change in orientation of the information displayed on the UI, particularly when the companion module inserted into the load center.

The processor is configured to: based on the electronic device being in a folded state and a screen being displayed through the second display, detect that unfolding of the electronic device has started; based on and angle exceeding a first angle, control the second display to be in an off state and display at least a portion of a screen displayed through the second display on a first area of the first display and a menu for controlling the screen displayed through the first area on a second area of the first display; and based on the angle exceeding a second angle greater than the first angle, display at least a portion of the screen displayed through the first area and the second area on the entire area of the first display.

Abstract: A method and apparatus dynamically update customized integrated terminal approach procedure interfaces based on changing real-time events associated with aircraft and airports. A dynamic approach procedures application extracts and analyzes terminal approach data, aircraft data, airport data and real-time weather data to automatically generate an integrated terminal approach interface. The integrated terminal approach interface presents dynamic digital approach information, the interface including a map interface and a procedure side bar displaying route-related procedures data to assist pilots with selecting a route into the destination airport. As conditions change, displayed terminal approach data within the map and procedure side bar is updated and route recommendations are refined, to assist a user in selecting destination airports, routes, and relevant approach procedures.

Abstract: A programmable power tool and method and systems of programming a power tool using wireless communication. An external device having a processor and a transceiver establishes a communication link with the power tool. The external device receives, with the transceiver, a first mode profile stored on the power tool. The first mode profile is defined by a profile type and a first value associated with a parameter for executing the profile type. The external device displays a control screen including the profile type and the parameter at the first value, and receives a user input. The external device generates, in response to the user input, a second mode profile by modifying the parameter to be at a second value. The external device transmits, with the transceiver, the second mode profile to the power tool.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to techniques for interacting with a hierarchical video segmentation by performing a metadata search. Generally, various types of metadata can be extracted from a video, such as a transcript of audio, keywords from the transcript, content or action tags visually extracted from video frames, and log event tags extracted from an associated temporal log. The extracted metadata is segmented into metadata segments and associated with corresponding video segments defined by a hierarchical video segmentation. As such, a metadata search can be performed to identify matching metadata segments and corresponding matching video segments defined by a particular level of the hierarchical segmentation. Matching metadata segments are emphasized in a composite list of the extracted metadata, and matching video segments are emphasized on the video timeline. Navigating to a different level of the hierarchy transforms the search results into corresponding coarser or finer segments defined by the level.

Abstract: A method of making an article of footwear is disclosed. The method may include the steps of selecting a family of article types, selecting a customized article type, manufacturing an article of footwear with the customized article type and shipping the article of footwear to a pre-designated shipping address. The customized article type can be configured with a user selected characteristic. The method can also include limiting the number of article types displayed to a user at any time.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods as disclosed may provide a platform agnostic way to edit content within an enterprise. For example, a platform independent thin client editor may be provided such that this editor can be accessed by users at a variety of computing platforms across the distributed computer network of an enterprise, regardless of the platform from which the thin client editor is being accessed. Moreover, certain embodiments may provide a role based mechanism for controlling the editing of content. Embodiments of such a role based mechanism may allow one editor of a content item to designate a role associated with the content item so that only users associated with that role may be allowed to edit the content item or portion of the content item.

Abstract: The disclosed technologies address various technical and user experience problems by augmenting the functionality provided by virtual on-screen trackpads without requiring users to switch between modes. In this way, users can access extended functionality without interfering with expected traditional trackpad functionality (e.g. moving a cursor, clicking, and scrolling). In particular, technologies are disclosed for modeless digital pen input to a virtual trackpad, modeless gestures for summoning user interfaces, modeless gestures utilizing position relative to adjacent user interfaces, and modeless cursor control and interaction with virtual touch targets.

Abstract: A system for classifying tasks based on workflow patterns detected on workflows through a real time video feed that shows steps being performed to accomplish a plurality of tasks. Each task is associated with a different set of steps. The system accesses a first set of steps known to be performed to accomplish a first task on the webpages. The first set of steps is represented by a first set of metadata. The system extracts a second set of metadata from the video feed. The second set of metadata represents a second set of steps to perform a second task. The system determines whether the second set of metadata corresponds to the first set of metadata. If it is determined that the second set of metadata corresponds to the first set of metadata, the system classifies the second task in a class to which the first task belongs.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content providing, searching and/or hosting systems supported by or configured with devices, servers and/or platforms. The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel asset management and visualization framework that automatically generates and causes display of a unified asset centric analytics electronic interface. The framework composes selected data based on asset metrics and renders a display that conveys a unified, asset-centric analytics user interface. The framework is configured to track or monitor detailed metrics for a collection of assets, and filter, select, and present determined critical data within the UI, in some embodiments, as interactive, electronic cards and/or as an asset tree of information that is configured to be navigated upon display.

Abstract: Systems and methods for performing bulk actions on multiple graphical objects are described herein. The presently disclosed systems and methods may provide a client interface which may allow a user to select multiple objects and a bulk action interface which may allow a user to select one or more bulk actions that may be applied to issues associated with the previously selected multiple objects. In response to a selection of the one or more bulk actions, the systems and methods disclosed may cause the selected one or more bulk actions to be performed with respect to each of the selected multiple objects.

Abstract: An imaging device includes a display unit configured to display captured images in a list and an image processing unit configured to edit an image selected out of a plurality of images displayed in the list through a predetermined retouch process. A photographing image is acquired and an automatically retouched image is acquired. The imaging device calculates a retouch score as an evaluation value and performs retouch simulation on an image of which the retouch score is equal to or greater than a threshold value. The image processing unit generates thumbnail images based on images before and after the editing of an image, and the display unit displays the list using the generated thumbnail images.
