  • Patent number: 10427811
Abstract: A device for filling a container with a fill product, for example a fill product that is viscous and contains particles, is described. The device includes a fill product reservoir for accommodating the fill product that is to be filled, a dosing cylinder within which a dosing piston is displaceably accommodated for dosing the fill product, and a discharge channel with an outlet end for discharging the fill product into the container that is to be filled. The discharge plunger is disposed in the discharge channel for expelling a product residue at the end of the filling process, and the fill product reservoir, the dosing cylinder, and the discharge channel are in communication with each other via a common product channel. A valve for opening and closing the connection between the fill product reservoir and the product channel is disposed in the base of the fill product reservoir.

  • Patent number: 10384815
Abstract: The bottom of a capsule is filled with at least two products contained in respective annular rotating containing tanks, which are mounted concentrically, and have a plurality of pairs of radially aligned filling holes; the filling holes of each pair of filling holes being associated with a relative closing device, which is selectively movable between a closing position of both filling holes, a first opening position of one of the two filling holes, and a second opening position of the other filling hole.

  • Patent number: 10377623
Abstract: A system for managing bulk product dispensing and sale in a retail establishment includes a bulk product dispenser for dispensing bulk product into a re-usable container which includes an ID tag identifying said container. A user interface receives a product fill request for a bulk product selected from a plurality of bulk products capable of being dispensed. Then a dispenser controller verifies the compatibility of said product fill request with said container by verifying the product requested satisfies restrictions based on information associated with the ID tag, and responsive to said verifying, either controlling said dispenser to fill said container with the requested product, or displaying a warning to a user if the request is not compatible.

  • Patent number: 10301166
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for refueling a vehicle configured with an onboard refueling vapor recovery (ORVR) system, such that a loading of a fuel vapor canister configured to capture and store fuel vapors, is reduced. In one example, during the refueling, a rate at which fuel vapors are routed to the fuel vapor canister is adjusted responsive to an indication that the vehicle is refueling at a gas station equipped with offboard fuel vapor recovery infrastructure. In this way, loading of the fuel vapor canister may be reduced which may prevent undesired bleedthrough emissions resulting from a canister loaded with fuel vapors, particularly in examples where the vehicle is a hybrid vehicle and where engine runtime is limited, thus limiting potential opportunities for purging of the fuel vapor canister.

  • Patent number: 10288222
Abstract: A method of refueling a vehicle tank with hydrogen, the refueling is controlled by a refueling station controller, the method including: connecting the tank to the station, initiating the refueling process, during the refueling monitoring the temperature of the gas inside the tank, establishing a pressure stop criterion for the refueling, based on a pressure category of the tank and the monitored temperature of the gas, the establishing of the pressure stop criterion being based on a lookup in a predefined table of a plurality of pressure stop criteria, during the refueling monitoring the pressure of the gas inside the tank, by the controller comparing the pressure of the gas with the pressure stop criterion and terminating the refueling when the pressure of the gas inside the tank has reached the pressure stop criterion, and disconnecting the vehicle and the refueling station.
