  • Patent number: 10384221
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pump head for a metering device for a metered dispensing of a fluid. The pump head can thereby be fitted on a storage container, for example a bottle, which is designed for storing the fluid to be dispensed. Pump head and storage vessel together thereby form the metering device according to the invention. The pump head is distinguished by including a passage for air, by means of which air from outside can be transferred into the storage vessel during the pumping process for pressure compensation. The present invention relates in addition to purposes of use for the pump head and the metering device.

  • Patent number: 10377624
Abstract: Among other things, one or more systems and/or techniques for labeling a refill contain and/or for enabling operation of the refill container by a dispensing system based upon one or more indicia of the label satisfying a dispensing key are provided. In an example, a label may be applied to a refill container. The label may comprise a first region having a first indicia that may correspond to a shape, color, and/or texture (e.g., a yellow star indicia). A dispensing system may enable operation of the refill container (e.g., installation and/or dispensing of material from the refill container) based upon the first indicia satisfying a dispensing key (e.g., a yellow key component and/or a star shape component). Otherwise, the dispensing system does not enable operation of the refill container (e.g., the refill container is not genuine or is not an appropriate refill container type).

  • Patent number: 10377537
Abstract: A liquid dispenser (10) for a container of liquid, comprises a spout (12) and a liquid uptake structure (18) aligned to provide liquid to the spout from a container. The liquid uptake structure has first openings (20) radially distributed at the spout end, second openings radially distributed around the container end and a third opening centrally located at the container end. The liquid uptake structure provides an airflow path through the second openings and a principle liquid flow path separate from the airflow path through the third opening, thus separating the two flow paths and providing a smooth pour.

  • Patent number: 10343825
Abstract: A discharge head for mixing two media and discharging the mixed liquid, having a dosing chamber, a first inlet, a second inlet, and an outlet through which the mixed liquid is discharged from the dosing chamber. A displacer is movable in an actuation direction between first and second end positions to force the mixed liquid through the outlet. A volume-compensating mechanism has a wall portion which is deflectable between a minimal position in which the volume of the dosing chamber is not enlarged and a maximal position in which the volume of the dosing chamber is enlarged to a maximum extent. Deflection of the wall portion in the direction of the maximal position enables an auxiliary volume to be made available in the dosing chamber through which, with the dosing chamber already filled with the first media, the second media can be introduced into the dosing chamber.

  • Patent number: 10337662
Abstract: The water cooler stand is an elevated stand for a water cooler that comprises a foot-operated mechanism for operating the spigot on the water cooler. The water cooler rests on the top surface of the stand and is retained there by a cooler cradle and two handle retention springs. A foot pedal located on the bottom, front leg of the stand is mechanically linked to a pressure plate in front of the spigot. A protrusion on the center of the front pressure plate will depress the push button on the spigot when the foot pedal is depressed. Use of the water cooler stand eliminates contamination and the spread of bacteria and germs to others. The water cooler stand may also comprise a slide-out sink basin and a hinged side tray to provide additional workspace.

  • Patent number: 10301055
Abstract: The present invention refers to an improved dispensing system for liquid dispensing in the form of drops, comprising: a cap; a dosage unit having a skirt showing a protrusion or edge at its lower end; and a container having a shoulder surface located at the inner part of the shoulder, wherein the shoulder surface holds the dosage unit through interfering with said protrusion or edge of the insert thus avoiding that the dosage unit can be removed from the container. While opening the improved dispensing system according to the present invention, a ring attached to the cap body breaks in sections, preventing said ring to be relocated in the cap and, thus, avoiding that the dosage unit can be reused for filling a different substance.
