  • Patent number: 8006953
Abstract: A luer hub connector comprises a hub having a cylindrical bore extending there through. The hub is adapted to have a luer device connected at one end. A cap having a hollow nozzle extending therefrom is formed at the other end of the hub. A cylindrical spring-like member is positioned within the bore in the hub, and a septum membrane closes the end of the spring-like member. A sliding, hollow sleeve member is received in the bore of the hub member, with a hollow nozzle extending from the sleeve member into the bore of the spring-like member. When a luer device is threaded onto the end of the hub, it contacts and drives the sleeve member towards the septum. The end of the hollow nozzle is pushed through the septum, and the spring-like member is also compressed. When the luer device is removed, the spring-like member pushes the sleeve member back, and the hollow nozzle withdraws out of contact with the septum. The septum then closes and seals.

  • Patent number: 7309055
Abstract: A tube flushing device has a shell having a first housing and a second housing connected on a side thereof so as to be movable between an open position and a closed position. A first pair of wheels are rotatably mounted in the first housing. A second pair of wheels rotatably mounted in the second housing. The first pair of wheels engages the second pair of wheels when the housings are in the closed position. The shell has openings on opposite ends thereof. A tube can extend through the openings and between the first and second pair of wheels so as to allow fluids therein to be flushed therefrom as the shell moves along the length of the tube.

  • Patent number: 7137411
Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic valve (1) that comprises an electromagnet (2) having an armature (3), and a valve part (4) having at least two valve seats (5, 6). The electromagnet (2) is formed by a hollow cylindrical plastic coil spool (8), a coil winding (10) received in the coil spool (8) and a magnet housing (11) surrounding the coil winding (10), the hollow cylinder of the coil spool (8) being configured as an armature space (14) for the armature (3), into which armature space (14) an upper pole (15) and a lower pole (16) of the electromagnet (2) extend. The valve part (4) is formed by a hollow cylindrical valve housing (18) that comprises a pressure delivery connection (P) on one front end, as well as a load connection (A) and a tank connection (T) arranged on its peripheral surface and, pressed into its hollow cylinder, two cup-shaped deep-drawn parts (23, 24) comprising the valve seats (5, 6).

  • Patent number: 7028980
Abstract: A solenoid driving device includes a coil formed by winding a coil wire on a bobbin formed of a non-magnetic material, end portions formed of a magnetic material which are disposed adjacent to both ends of the coil, a yoke formed of a magnetic material which is disposed encompassing the coil and the end portions, and a plunger disposed slidably in a hollow portion formed within the bobbin and end portions. The plunger includes a base formed of a magnetic material, a first layer formed of a non-magnetic material, and a second layer formed of a non-magnetic material having a friction coefficient smaller than that of the first layer. This allows magnetism to be severed between the plunger and end portions.
