Abstract: An ear warmer comprises a frame and a fabric member. The frame has an ear portion and a band portion. The ear portion of the frame includes a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The first side of the ear portion defines an interior portion of an opening. The second side of the ear portion defines an exterior portion of the opening. The fabric member includes at least its own ear portion coupled to the ear portion of the frame. The ear portion of the fabric member covers the interior portion of the opening in substantially its entirety and covers less than an entirety of the exterior portion of the opening.

Abstract: A hosiery donning device, in particular for compression hosiery, has a support, a front end portion of which is inserted into the hosiery to be donned; the support defines a downwardly-facing cavity so that a foot can be inserted into the sock or stocking by making the support slide over the upper surface and instep of the foot; a handle is joined to the rear of the support, it is fixed and faces upwards in relation to the support; the cavity is defined by a saddle-shaped portion, on which at least a portion of the hosiery is gathered; the saddle-shaped portion accompanies a portion of the hosiery over the heel of the foot, when the handle is tilted forwards while the saddle-shaped portion remains in contact with the instep of the foot.

Abstract: Pivoting helmet mounts for an optical device are provided. In one aspect, a breakaway connector which is selectively configurable between breakaway and nonbreakaway configurations is provided. In a further aspect, a strap mount system for securing the helmet mount to the helmet employs a rotating ratchet assembly to adjust tension in the strap. In another aspect, a helmet mount for an optical device comprises a track assembly attached to a helmet to allow stowing of the optical device in a further retracted position. The track mount system may further include electrical connectors for attaching a power supply and an electronic device. In another aspect, a mounting bracket allows helmet-mounted optics to be shared with a weapon accessory mount. In a further aspect, a optical sighting device for a weapon combines a reflex sight a night vision goggle to allow targeting at night or in other low-light conditions.

Abstract: A box and/or form for a wig or hair piece are provided. The form may include a torus-shaped member and a mandrel. In use, the wig or hair piece may be wrapped about or otherwise secured to the mandrel and the mandrel may be placed within a lumen of the torus-shaped member. A curved or curled portion of the strands of hair of the wig or hair piece may extend over a curved surface of the torus-shaped member. The wig form and attached wig or hair piece may be covered with a hairnet and may be placed in a box for sale to a consumer or for storage by the consumer after sale. Embodiments allow the display before sale and convenient storage of wigs and hair pieces by the consumer while preserving the curl of the hair.

The body (202) further includes at least one weakened region (220,222) extending from the at least one digit aperture (204,206,208,210,212), the weakened region (220,222), in use, permitting the body (202) to tear and thereby increase the size of the at least one digit aperture (204,206,208,210,212) as the hand of a user is inserted into the at least one digit aperture (204,206,208,210,212).

Abstract: An improved athletic helmet comprises an outer shell having an interior and an exterior surface, an inner liner attached to the interior of the outer shell, and a face mask attached to the exterior of the outer shell. In an embodiment, the face mask engages within a recess in the exterior surface of the outer shell for receiving the face mask. The face mask may comprise a flange for engaging the recess and attaching the face mask to the outer shell. Preferably, the flange of the face mask is substantially flush with the exterior of the outer shell. In one embodiment, the inner liner comprises a viscoelastic foam. In another embodiment, the face mask comprises a lightweight magnesium material.

Abstract: A machine, and a related method, for automatically transferring tubular items for manufacturing men's socks, comprising a station (S1) for loading automatically the tubular items (1) arranged on a longitudinal axis thereof, a station (S2) for positioning the items in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis thereof, a station (S3) for orienting angularly the items with respect to a rotation axis parallel to the longitudinal axis thereof, and a station (S4) for transferring along a transfer line (T) the oriented items, the transfer station comprising a first and a second leader for aligning a portion of the tubular items (1), in which the leaders are arranged one after the other along the transfer line (T) and are separated by a non-controlled section of said line, for correcting in the second leader possible errors of insertion of the item into said first leader.

Abstract: A method of making an article comprising links is disclosed. The method includes a step of generating a link pattern according to a pre-selected portion of the article. The link pattern comprises a plurality of link indicia that correspond to plurality of links. After associating each link from the plurality of links with a link indicia from the plurality of link indicia, a plurality of threads may be threaded through the plurality of links to form a link matrix. The link matrix may be associated with the pre-selected portion of an article to make an article comprising links.

Abstract: Headgear and head suspension system adapted to support an object with a head of a wearer. A flexible circumferential band has an anterior portion and a posterior portion, at least a portion of the anterior portion of the flexible circumferential band having a replaceable headband bridge having a particular configuration. A configuration of the head suspension system may be modified by replacing the replaceable headband bridge with another headband bridge of a different configuration.

Abstract: The disclosed invention is a threader for use with various modular tactical vest systems. The particular modular vest systems have a weaving interface with attachable storage modules. A strap on a module is attached to the threader and the threader is woven through the support web on the vest. As the threader is pulled through the support web, the module is secured to the vest. Two embodiments for attaching the strap to the threader are disclosed.

Abstract: A helmet padding consists of sets of tubes. An armature and tubes are connected and mounted within the shell. A fastener fastens a cage to the shell allowing sides of the cage to be mounted directly against the shell. The shell is molded with recessed portions receiving two branches of the chin bar on each side where they will be fastened to the shell to provide a smooth transition and reduce weight. An adjustment device includes a star wheel on each side of the helmet attached to an arcuate flexible strip extending rearwardly around the occipital area of the skull. A sliding mechanism attached to the strip allows the strip to be moved forward and backward to allow it to be tightened or loosened, respectively, with respect to the player's head. A ratcheting lateral adjustment device is also disclosed.

Abstract: A shirt frame including a fixed frame installed on ground, a model installed on the fixed frame, for supporting a shirt, a front iron installed on the fixed frame and movable towards the model so as to iron a front part of the shirt supported on the model, a rear iron installed on the fixed frame and moveable towards the model so as to iron a rear part of the shirt supported on the model, a sleeve supporter installed on the fixed frame, for stretching a sleeve of the shirt supported on the model, and a lateral stretcher installed on the fixed frame and including at least one rods that are folded and unfolded in both directions with respect to the model so as to stretch lateral surfaces of the shirt supported on the model. The quality of an ironing operation is maximized, and an operating speed of a user is increased. Upper and lower surfaces of a sleeve of shirt are uniformly ironed, sleeves are easily supported, and thus creases of the sleeves are prevented.

Abstract: A helmet, adjustable longitudinally and laterally to fit a variety of head configurations, includes an outer shell having front and a rear shell parts, which are movably joined with one another, and an adjuster. The rear outer shell and/or the front outer shell can include first and second lateral shell portions separated by a slot. The adjuster can move the first and second lateral shell portions away from one another from a narrowed mode to a widened mode to increase the lateral dimension of the helmet. Simultaneously, the adjuster can move the front and/or rear shell to increase the longitudinal dimension of the helmet as the first and second lateral shell portions move from a narrowed mode to a widened mode. A method is also provided for effecting the longitudinal and lateral adjustments of the helmet.

Abstract: A cookie cutting glove having a cookie cutter or cookie stamp attached to a glove for use by children and adults to cut and shape cookie dough easily and enjoyably while requiring minimal small motor skills. The glove has an internal layer of a resilient polymer that provides a rigidity to the glove when a user presses the cookie cutter in the dough as well as provides insulation against heat and electricity. The cookie cutter is attached to the glove by many variations, such as a strap or a ribbon. The glove is not limited to one specific style, but is any style that covers a palm and a back of a hand and has a plurality of finger cavities. In one embodiment, an outer surface of the glove itself is the cookie cutter. Without the cookie cutter, the glove is useful as an oven mitt.

Abstract: A helmet having a first helmet portion and a second helmet portion disposed adjacent to said first helmet portion, with the portions being slidably connected to one another and slidable relative to each other. The second helmet portion has a restraint defining a passage. The first helmet portion has an opening exposing a portion of the restraint. A securing member is received in the opening of the first helmet portion and slidable between engaged and disengaged positions. A portion of the securing member extends through the opening toward the second helmet portion and is received in the passage when in the disengaged position. The securing member engages the restraint and prevents relative movement of the first and second helmet portions when in the engaged position.

Abstract: Various embodiments of ear protection devices are disclosed. In one embodiment, an ear protection device can include a band and ear frame portions. The ear frame portions can include several components, some of which are configured to move relative to each other. The ear frame portions are coupled to the band portion. The band portion is configured to be disposed around the back of a user's head and/or neck. In other embodiments, the frame and fabric components can vary.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment providing one or more improvements includes wig or hair piece boxes for both the efficient storage and display of wigs or hair pieces before sell, as well as providing simple, efficient and effective storage facilities for wigs or hair pieces for use of the consumer. The wig or hair piece boxes include a form which holds the wig or hair piece and preserves the curl, style, and one directional curl of the hair tip end on the wig or hair piece. This avoids the common problem of loss of original curl and style of the wig or hair piece which plagues conventional wig and hair piece boxes.

Abstract: A fitted bedsheet folding aid includes a telescoping left rod assembly having a pair of door hangers attached thereto for supporting the fitted bedsheet folding aid over the top of a door. A telescoping right rod assembly longitudinally abuts the left rod assembly and is attached thereto by means of a hinge to permit the right rod assembly to be rotated clockwise 180 degrees away from the door from an open position in which it is longitudinally aligned with the left rod assembly to a closed position in front of the left rod assembly. The length of each of the telescoping rod assemblies is adjustable to accommodate king, queen, double or twin fitted sheets. A spring-loaded tip member at each end of the telescoping rod assemblies is urged outwardly to maintain taut a sheet spanning the telescoping rod assemblies.

Abstract: A welding mask including a mask body for covering an entire face of a wearer having an opening portion corresponding to eyes of the wearer thereof; a rotatable cover rotationally coupled to a front of the mask body upward and downward; a shading filter mounted on the rotatable cover so as to shade a light generated during welding operation thereof; an elastic coupling means for rotationally coupling the rotatable cover to both side surfaces of the mask body upward; and a fixing means for fixing the rotatable cover or releasing a fixing status thereof formed at one side of the mask body. In addition, a window is further formed at the rear portion of the rotatable cover having the shading filter, thereby improving operation efficiency.

Abstract: Visor assembly (1, 21) consisting of an inner shield (6, 26) and an outer shield (2, 22). In the use position these shields are some distance apart. With this arrangement the inner shield (6, 26) is located within the peripheral confines of the outer shield (2, 22). The inner shield (6, 26) is provided with an elevation (7, 27) which extends close to the periphery thereof and which acts as a spacer with respect to the outer shield. This elevation (7, 27) is preferably made of silicone material which is snack to the inner shield (6, 26) but is not stuck to the outer shield (2, 22). Fixing to the outer shield (2, 22) takes place by means (10, 12) of mechanical fixing means.
