Abstract: An adjustable hockey helmet includes a front shell that is longitudinally movable relative to a rear shell to adjust the length of the helmet. One or more substantially rigid straps or similar elements are attached to the front shell and extend to the interior of the rear shell. A cam mechanism or similar device is included on the rear shell for securing the straps directly or indirectly against the interior of the rear shell to prevent longitudinal movement of the front shell relative to the rear shell once the helmet is adjusted to a desired length. Alternatively, the one or more straps may be attached to the rear shell and the cam mechanism may be included on the front shell.

Abstract: Among other things, there is disclosed embodiments of garments usable when riding open vehicles such as motorcycles, bicycles or mopeds. One or more pockets are provided in the garment, with a flag attached in each respective pocket. When the user is riding, the flag(s) can be extended from the pocket(s) to wave behind the rider. When the rider desires, the flag(s) can be folded, rolled or otherwise stored or protected within the pocket(s).

Abstract: A releasable vest having a front panel; front shoulder strap elements that include at least one front shoulder strap attachment opening; a back panel; a first waist belt element that extends from the front panel and has at least one waist belt element attachment opening formed through the waist belt element; a second waist belt element that extends from the front panel and has at least one release loop attached thereto, wherein the at least one release loop is capable of being passed through the waist belt attachment opening of the first waist belt element and the at least one front shoulder strap attachment opening of the front shoulder strap elements; and a release lanyard that is capable of being passed through the release loop so as to releasably secure the first waist belt element and the at least one shoulder strap element to the release loop.

Abstract: A wader is disclosed. The wader includes a bib including a front and a rear portion, and a shoulder strap configured to couple to either the front portion of the bib or the rear portion of the bib. The wader includes an adapter strap configured to couple between the shoulder strap and either the front portion of the bib or the rear portion of the bib. The adapter strap is configured to support both a left side and a right side of the bib when the adapter strap is coupled to either the front portion of the bib or the rear portion of the bib. In some implementations, the adapter strap includes a first buckle configured to couple to the shoulder strap and the bib, a second buckle configured to couple to the bib, and a third buckle configured to couple to the bib.

Abstract: A weighted skull cap comprising integral weights for strengthening neck muscles during sport or physical therapy activities is herein disclosed. The apparatus comprises multiple layers that conceal a plurality of individual pockets about an entire interior surface of the cap. Each pocket comprises a flap-style locking closure for placement of a weight and secured with a fastening means to assist in retaining the weights therein the pockets during exercise activities. Each weight quantity is varied by the user to suit individual training needs.

Abstract: Disclosed is a welding helmet with a protection cover for a cartridge, being manufactured in various forms and capable of covering a cartridge of the welding helmet and thereby protecting the cartridge from welding heat and preventing melting of the cartridge. According to the present invention, the welding helmet comprising a helmet body covering an operator's face, an opening formed on a front of the helmet body, and a cartridge connected with the opening and equipped with an LCD panel which intercepts light emanating from a welding operation to protect the operator's eyes, further comprises a heat transmission interception unit formed on a front of the cartridge of the welding helmet to prevent surface deformation caused by welding heat.

Abstract: Provided is protective athletic headwear that includes a body, band and protective inserts. The body has a first opening and a second smaller opening. The pocket band extends about the first opening to the interior of the body and partially toward the second opening. The band is free floating with respect to the body and configured to fit the head of the person. Further, the band includes pockets disposed about a base stitching that secure the band to the body. The protective inserts are configured to be received into pockets to provide a protective function to the head of the person. The protective inserts are disposed adjacently to one another about the band and extend from the base stitching of the band partially toward the second opening such that the body encloses the protective inserts in the band.

Abstract: A safety helmet structure and a processing method thereof. The safety helmet includes a first section, a second section and an extension section defined between the first and second sections. The first section is sprayed with a figure. A decorative section or a figure layers is adhered to the second section. After a periphery of the decorative section or figure layer partially passes over an edge of the second section, the periphery of the decorative section or figure layer enters the extension section. The first and second sections together form a helmet subassembly. The helmet subassembly is placed in a mold and integrally bonded with a buffer material or foam material filler to form a helmet assembly.

Abstract: This invention concerns protective shoulder pads (2) having a release mechanism (7). The shoulder pads (2) protect an individual wearing the protective shoulder pads (2) against impact to the superior, anterior, posterior and/or lateral regions of the shoulder and upper arm. Release mechanism (7) allows the protective shoulder pads (2) to be more safely and easily removed from the individual wearing the protective shoulder pads (2) while the individual wearing the protective shoulder pads (2) is maintained in the supine position, thus decreasing the risk of further injuring the individual wearing the protective shoulder pads (2).

Abstract: A moisture control garment formed of a material that has moisture wicking (hydrophobic) properties joined to another material that has moisture absorbing (hydrophilic) properties. In certain embodiments, the moisture wicking and moisture absorbing materials are of similar thickness, have the same estimated shrinkage percentage, and the fibers of such materials are positioned in the same direction.

Abstract: The claimed subject matter provides a tzitzit garment that meets halachic (e.g., Jewish law) requirements for wearing tzitzit strings (e.g., fringes) on the corners of a four-cornered garment. The tzitzit garment includes two layers, including an under layer that is made of compression material that wicks perspiration away from the body of a wearer and an outer layer that is a four cornered garment, has tzitzit strings at each of the four corners and is attached to the under layer. Furthermore, the claimed subject matter provides a pant garment that includes grips to hold the tzitzit strings in place to prevent interference during physical activity.

Abstract: An adjustable kneepad support that is a brace formed by a pair of elongated, flexible, overlapping thin beam members that are movable relative to each other for lengthwise adjustment. Abstract: A visor mounting apparatus for mounting a face shield to a helmet includes end portions mounted to the helmet and connecting ends of the shield to the helmet and a front attachment between the helmet and the shield comprising a mounting portion for attaching to the shield and an engagement portion having a tapered slot configured for clasping a brim of the helmet. Abstract: A support belt for use with body armor is disclosed. The support belt has a central member that includes two oppositely disposed side members and at least one horizontal strap that has a vertical receiving channel. There are at least two support straps configured to releasably interlock with the vertical receiving channel and a plurality of straps secured to an outer surface of the body armor to form a support trough that transfers at least a portion of the weight of the body armor to the waist of the wearer. There is a closure device to secure the side members to each other to secure the belt substantially around the wearer's waist.
