Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for providing integrated management of a workflow for moving industry quotes. A processor can be configured to execute workflow management software to manage a plurality of moving industry quote workflows. Each moving industry quote workflow may correspond to a move transaction. The moving industry quote workflows may correspond to a plurality of workflow types, and each workflow type may comprise an associated plurality of interrelated tasks for different aspects of managing a moving industry quote workflow. Users can interact with a plurality of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to perform the interrelated tasks.

Abstract: A system for electronic crime reduction is provided, comprising a computer system, a database, a malware de-compiler, a malware parser, and an inference engine. The database contains information that associates electronic crime attack signature data with at least one of an individual, a group, and a location. The malware de-compiler, when executed on the computer system, translates a first malware executable to an assembly language version. The first malware is associated with an electronic crime that has been committed. The malware parser, when executed on the computer system, analyzes the assembly language version to identify distinctive coding preferences used to develop the first malware. The inference engine, when executed on the computer system, analyzes the distinctive coding preferences identified by the malware parser application in combination with searching the database to identify one of an individual, a group, and a location associated with the electronic crime.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media are disclosed for providing career motivation, career inspiration and career guidance to a user through one or more journeys. Metrics concerning attention and fact retention of the user after having been presented with one or more career videos on a user device and after the user having responded to career- and skill-specific situational learning exercises and questioning may be recorded in a student record. A career code, such as a Holland Code, may be determined for the user using the responses provided by the user during a career tendency assessment. Metrics of the user's selection of one or more careers may be recorded in the student record. Mentor interaction may be provided for the selected one or more careers and results of the mentor interaction may be stored in the student record. One or more virtual field trips may be provided to the user and results of the one or more virtual field trips may be stored in the student record.

Abstract: A method for facilitating the evaluation of candidates in an evaluation process is provided. The method includes operations of selecting a first data set including ratings of recorded responses of a set of evaluated persons and of selecting a second data set including additional recorded responses of a person under evaluation. The recorded responses are responsive to multiple prompts presented to each of the set evaluated persons in a recording sequence. The first data set further includes an evaluation result of each evaluated person in the evaluation. The additional recorded responses are responsive to the plurality of prompts and ordered in a first order corresponding to a recording sequence. The method includes analyzing the first data set to calculate a reviewing sequence and presenting the additional recorded responses in a second order corresponding to the reviewing sequence. Abstract: A method, data processing system, and computer program product for locating people. A mobile data processing system identifies a number of degrees of separation from a requestor for use in searching for the people. The mobile data processing system searches a network data processing system for data structures that contain information about associations between the people that are within the number of degrees of separation from the requestor to generate an initial group of people. The mobile network data processing system identifies a group of people from the initial group of people that are within a geographic location based on a location of the mobile data processing system and a portion of the group of people who are online. The mobile data processing system displays the portion of the group of people on a display device for the mobile data processing system.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are provided for conducting a social interaction. A first user account may be associated with a first beverage container. A second beverage container may be detected as being proximate to the first beverage container. A second user account associated with the second beverage container may be accessed to identify a commonality between the first and second user accounts. The commonality may be objective and/or subjective information or data about the users of the first and second beverage containers. Information indicative of the commonality may be displayed on an electronic display of at least one of the beverage containers. The electronic display may be flexible such that it conforms to a curvature of the beverage container.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a uniquely accountable mechanism to provide emergency responders with accurate and verifiable data regarding the location and operational readiness of emergency equipment immediately upon notification of an emergency. The invention tracks, records, and establishes workflows to maintain emergency medical equipment, such as automated external defibrillators (AEDs), by non-technical, non-healthcare providers for use by emergency responders in pre-hospital, pre-EMS medical emergencies. The unique and verifiable data obtained from this process is used as part of an emergency notification system that provides emergency responders, such as sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) responders, in an organizational setting, with immediate and accurate information identifying the nearest operationally ready medical device at the time of the emergency, which information has heretofore never been available to emergency responders such as SCA responders.

Abstract: A dynamic media caption apparatus and method in a social network environment. Included is a user interface to define syntax and distribution rules for a media caption in a social network; a distribution rules engine to understand the syntax and distribution rules defined in the user interface for the media caption and output a media caption that is customized according to the distribution rules; and a distribution manager to translate the customized media caption output by the distribution rules engine to a language understandable by the social network, generate the customized media caption in the language understandable by the social network and output the translated customized media caption to the social network, the customized media caption changing according to the distribution rules and a relationship to the user of a viewer of the media caption on the social network.
