  • Patent number: 9212762
Abstract: A stopcock is provided with multiple ports joining multiple fluid conduits leading between fluid sources and fluid destinations. A central hub manifold resides within a valve body supporting the ports, and can rotate relative to the valve body. Fluid flow paths within the central hub are selectively aligned or not aligned with the ports. The stopcock indicates which ports are open by providing marks corresponding with positions of the ports. When the marks are visible, the corresponding ports are open. With different positioning of ports and different configurations of fluid flow paths within the central hub, stopcocks having different numbers of operable positions are provided including two, three, four, six and eight way stopcocks. By providing an axial flow path through a central axis of the central hub intersecting the embedded fluid flow paths within the central hub, still further numbers of operational states are provided.

  • Patent number: 9187229
Abstract: A self contained one-way pressure relief valve for application to product packaging that does not require the addition of a sealing lubricant. Atop a base with an opening extending through the base is an adhesive-like material layer, and a dry strap of a silicone or other release film coated membrane, all of which are of gas impervious materials. The release film coated material layer covers the opening with the release film in contact with the adhesive-like material creating a surface attraction between the release film and the adhesive-like material. An intermediate layer of gas impervious material with an opening extending through such layer may be provided. A gas pervious filter material layer may be provided to block passage of fine particulates or liquid.

  • Patent number: 9126713
Abstract: Provided are a joining portion in which a male threaded portion threaded to a container-side female threaded portion is formed; a connector main unit disposed at an inner side of the joining portion, sharing a center axis therewith, and is connected so as to be rotatable relative thereto; and a siphon tube attached to the connector main unit so as to extend toward the bottom portion of the container and has a tip curved in a substantially horizontal direction, wherein the joining portion is screwed in independently of the connector main unit when attaching the connector by using a securing jig that, by being inserted from above the connector main unit, causes depressed/protruding portions to be engaged, thus preventing relative rotation to each other, and by using a tightening jig that tightens the male threaded portion by being engaged at the upper surface of the joining portion.
