Abstract: One example method includes connecting to a server component, transmitting, to the server component, information concerning a hardware configuration associated with an asset having a capability that is fully utilized during a first time period and the capability is idle during a second time period, receiving, from the server component, cluster connection information, and using the cluster connection information to temporarily connect the asset to the cluster as a node of the cluster so that the capability is available during idle time to perform a workload of the cluster.

Abstract: According to one example, a method includes determining that a first virtual machine on a source node is to be migrated, selecting a first plurality of destination nodes for the first virtual machine, and simultaneously migrating the first virtual machine to each of the first plurality of destination nodes. The method further includes, after the migrating has started and before the migrating has finished, selecting one of the first plurality of destination nodes as a designated node. The method further includes discontinuing the migrating to each of the first plurality of destination nodes except the designated node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for prototyping Internet-enabled devices. One of the methods includes receiving a prototype program defining functionality of a proposed Internet-enabled device having a plurality of sensors and one or more actuators. A sensor hub receives a registration request through a prototyping API for each of the connected sensors and the one or more actuators. The sensor hub initializes each of the connected sensors and the one or more connected actuators, obtains a status of each registered connected sensor, provides the obtained status of each connected sensor to the prototyping system through the prototyping API, receives requested actions corresponding to functionality specified in the prototype program, and executes each of the requested actions on a corresponding connected actuator.

Abstract: Systems and devices for the evaluation and analysis of computing system data for anomaly detection and processing are disclosed. In an example, operations to detect anomalies include: obtaining a source event stream of data produced from operation of a computing system; converting the source event stream into a frequency signal; identifying an estimated seasonality from the frequency signal; scaling the estimated seasonality to a target event stream produced from operation of the computing system; identifying anomalies of a principal vector of the target event stream, based on deviation from the estimated seasonality; and causing the computing system to perform an action based on the identified anomalies. In a further example, the operations include scaling the estimated seasonality to a subset of the target event stream indicating minor vectors; and identifying anomalies of the minor vectors, based on deviation of the subset of data from the estimated seasonality.

Abstract: The present application provides a method, device, and system for requesting remote services. The method includes determining, by one or more processors, a special request frame, the special request frame comprising an extensible field, the extensible field comprising remote service request information, and the special request frame being a frame for terminal-access point mutual discovery according to a communication protocol for communication between a terminal and an access point, communicating the special request frame to an access point, and obtaining, by the one or more processors, information pertaining to a remote service provided by a service, the information pertaining to the remote service being based at least in part on the remote service request information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for identifying data indicating respective hardware profiles of the server computing systems; analyzing the hardware profiles, including: detecting, for each of the server computing systems, a model type of the server computing system, and detecting, for each model type of the server computing systems, a module configuration of the server computing system; grouping, for each model type, each server computing system that is associated with a same module configuration into a set of server computing systems; receiving user input indicating selection of at least one set of server computing systems; determining that, for at least one set of server computing systems, that a respective module configuration is to be applied globally based on the user input; and applying the respective module configuration to the at least one set of server computing systems.

Abstract: An system and method of adaptively transporting large data assets to meet desired transfer speed and cost, includes selecting folders containing files having the data, receiving input of the desired transfer speed and cost, selecting a destination memory device, reading a file header of the files for the selected folders to obtain header information, determining a file type and file size based on the header information, determining a large file size threshold based on the desired transfer speed and cost and previously measured transfer speed. When the file size of a file is above the large file size threshold, dividing the file into two or more file parts in accordance with the file type, transferring the one or more files, including any of the file parts, using a number of parallel transport machine instances, measuring a total speed of the transfer, and storing the measured total speed for use as the previously measured transfer speed.

Abstract: Computer-implemented techniques can include initializing, by a server and with a first computing device, a real-time communication session, wherein the first computing device is connected to a media system, receiving, from at least one of the first computing device and a mobile computing device, authentication information for a user associated with the mobile computing device, the authentication information being indicative of the mobile computing device being in short-range wireless communication with the first computing device, associating the user with the real-time communication session, detecting that a second computing device that is associated with the user is logged into a same account as the mobile computing device, and in response to the associating and the detecting, transmitting, to the second computing device, instructions that cause the second computing device to display a user interface element associated with the real-time communication session.

Abstract: An online system receives a request from a posting user to post content describing a type of life event about the posting user to a user profile page of the posting user as well as a privacy setting for the content. The online system accesses a set of animations, in which each animation is associated with a type of life event and selects an animation that is associated with the type of life event about the posting user. Upon receiving a request from a viewing user to view the user profile page, the online system determines whether to include the selected animation in the user profile page based on the privacy setting and information describing a connection between the users. Based on the determination, the online system generates a user interface including at least the user profile page and sends the user interface for display to the viewing user.

Abstract: A system includes one or more devices that include a memory to store instructions and one or more processors to execute the instructions. The devices include an updated network function (NF) service producer that includes a recent update, wherein the NF service producer is configured to register at a Network Repository Function (NRF) using a Network Function profile (NF profile), wherein the NF profile indicates a Network Function type (NF type) and Application Programming Interface versions. The devices further include a network function (NF) service consumer configured to: receive a message from a network component; determine to engage a service of a NF service producer of the NF type based on the message; and send a discovery request to the NRF in response to the message, wherein the message includes search criteria that specify a version field extended with an operator dependent version field.

Abstract: A method of processing memory instructions including receiving a memory related command from a client system in communication with a memory appliance via a communication protocol, wherein the memory appliance comprises a processor, a memory unit controller and a plurality of memory devices coupled to said memory unit controller. The memory related command is translated by the processor into a plurality of commands that are formatted to perform prescribed data manipulation operations on data of the plurality of memory devices stored in data structures. The plurality of primitive commands is executed on data stored in the memory devices to produce a result, wherein the executing is performed by the memory unit controller. A direct memory transfer of the result is established over the communication protocol to a network.

Abstract: Methods and systems of the invention relate to automation of certain fiduciary tasks using machine learning techniques, including generation of corporate meeting minute documents in compliance with legal and organizational requirements. In part, these methods and systems use pre-trained machine learning based data model. The invention monitors and can proactively control meetings to ensure agenda completion among meeting participants and to create meeting minutes, among other tasks.

Abstract: A recording system may use the information stored in a list to determine whether to receive and/or respond to messages transmitted by notice systems. The source of the information for the list includes a server and/or the recording system itself. A server that provides the list may use data provided by an agency to determine a relationship between a people, recording devices and notice systems. The associations between people, recording devices and notice devices may be used to determine what information is in the list. A recording device that forms the list may receive messages from any notice system, detect the session identifier, store the session identifiers from received messages, and receive and/or respond to messages in accordance with the list formed by the recording system.

Abstract: Techniques for migration for composite nodes in software-defined infrastructures (SDI) are described. A SDI system may include a SDI manager component, including one or more processor circuits, configured to access one or more remote resources, the SDI manager component may include a partition manager configured to receive a request to create a composite node from an orchestrator component, the request including at least one preferred compute sled type and at least one alternative compute sled type. The SDI manager may create a composite node using a first compute sled matching the at least one alternative compute sled type. The SDI manager may determine, based upon a migration table stored on a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium that a second compute sled matching the at least one preferred compute sled type is available. The SDI manager may perform an migration from the first compute sled to the second compute sled. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A ring control data exchange system includes a first networking device in a first datacenter and a second networking device in a second datacenter and in a ring configuration with the first networking device. The second networking device identifies first control data packets, performs a hashing operation on the first control data packets to generate respective first control data hash values, and transmits the first control data packets to the first networking device. Subsequently, the second networking device identifies second control data packets, performs the hashing operation on the second control data packets to generate respective second control data hash values, determines that the respective second control data hash values match the respective first control data hash values and, in response, generates and transmits a first consolidated control data hash value to the first networking device while not transmitting the second control data packets to the first networking device.

Abstract: Methods of managing an information technology (IT) infrastructure include detecting by a configuration management system an unauthorized change to one of a plurality of network elements, determining by the configuration management system that the unauthorized change to the one of the plurality of network elements creates a risk condition to an operation of one of the services provided by the IT infrastructure, and initiating an action to remedy the unauthorized change in response to determining that the unauthorized change to the one of the plurality of network elements creates the risk condition to the operation of one of the services provided by the IT infrastructure. Abstract: A method and waveform handling apparatus for capturing and storing data waveforms and metadata for analysis. The method includes receiving waveform data and metadata, the waveform data corresponding to a demodulated data burst, creating a waveform data record from the received waveform data, associating the waveform data with corresponding metadata, and creating a metadata record from the corresponding metadata. The method allows the waveform data in the waveform data record to be stored in a first data repository and the corresponding metadata in the metadata record to be stored in a second data repository, the waveform data and the corresponding metadata accessible for analysis.
