Abstract: A positionable platform for use with a beverage holder, the positionable platform including a monolithic body sized similarly to a standard twelve (12) ounce beverage container, the body having an upper platform portion positioned adjacent to a first end of a wall portion thereof, with a plurality of slotted retention apertures distributed about the body and substantially aligned therewith. A resiliently pliable member resides in each of the slotted retention apertures, each of the resiliently pliable members being having a fin portion positioned partially within a slot portion and extended from the outer surface of the wall portion outwardly of the body and extending along the wall portion between the first and second ends thereof, and a spine portion positioned substantially within a recessed keyhole portion. A mounting platform is positioned adjacent to one of the first and second ends of the body.
Abstract: Trapeze type support strut assemblies attach pipes, conduit, and tubes to vertical and horizontal surfaces in a sanitary manner. The strut assemblies repel contaminants, are easy to inspect, and easy to clean. Structures to provide seismic stability to trapeze type support strut assemblies may also be used.
Abstract: A directional support structure for use with solar panels, flat satellite antennas, and the like items that are directed toward a point in space. The support structure includes a mounting plate with an extension tube extending outwardly therefrom, pivotally secured to a mounting bracket permitting rotational azimuth alignment of the mounting plate. At least one locking turnbuckle is attached between the extension tube and the mounting bracket to provide locking and vertical adjustable alignment of the mounting plate. The base member includes an attached first flange positioned along an upper end of the base member, an attached flaring positioned on the lower end of the mounting bracket, and an unattached second flange positioned over the flaring, securable to the first flange with fasteners.
Abstract: A system for suspending an HVAC unit from one or more wood truss members through the use of one or more top lock plates connected to a top support member, one or more channels connected to the top of the HVAC unit, one or more bottom lock plates slidably connected to the one or more channels, and one or more suspension chains connected between the top lock plates and the bottom lock plates to adjustably suspend the HVAC unit at the desired height and pitch. The suspension system provides a system for suspending HVAC equipment in residential and light commercial applications that is safer, quicker, cheaper, more reliable and more accurate than systems currently in use.
Abstract: An improved pony bottle bracket that is light weight, compact, simple to use, and facilitates a quick and easy set-up is disclosed. A push button latch enables a diver to quickly disconnect the pony bottle from the main bottle. The pony tank bracket and base unit bracket are mounted by use of a belt and adjustable band straps. The locking mechanism is self-contained, thereby eliminating or minimizing the use of separate components (e.g., no clevis, hitch, cotter or quick release pins) which may be lost. The bracket also eliminates or reduces the use of any items which may entangle the diver or entangle other objects in the diver's surroundings (e.g., no string, cord, chain or lanyards). The bracket is bidirectional (e.g., reversible) such that the top bracket mount may be rotated between about 0 and 180 degrees.
Abstract: A clip having a main member with a first side, a second side, a first end, and a second end. A first substantially planar member has a first end connected to a first end of a second substantially planar member. The outside of the vertex formed by the substantially planar members is connected to the first side of the main member intermediate the ends of the main member. In use, the substantially planar members contact the rear and outside edge of a frame for a canvas. A short hook is connected to the first end of the main member and, in use, presses against the front of the frame. And a long hook is attached to a second end of the main member and, in use, presses against the inside edge of the frame. A variety of attachments may be made to the second side of the main member.
Abstract: An accessory device mounting platform includes a substantially rigid frame and a substantially rigid mating tray that are slidably interconnected along a first direction, the frame and tray include a tongue-and-groove slide mechanism arranged therebetween for sliding the tray relative to the frame relative to a first direction. A resilient biasing mechanism, such as a cantilevered flexure or tension spring, is coupled between the frame and a latch bolt portion of a clasp mechanism for biasing the latch bolt portion toward a latch strike plate mechanism formed in the tray. The latch strike plate mechanism is formed with an inclined surface that is positioned to engage a latch bolt portion of the clasp mechanism and is structured for deflecting the latch bolt away from the frame, while the resilient biasing mechanism of the clasp mechanism is structured for biasing the latch bolt back toward the frame.
Abstract: A system for limiting outward movement of a slide-out shelf includes a plurality of side supports configured to support the shelf, a positive stop extending along each of the side supports, and a plurality of support members configured to rigidly connect the side supports and contact at least a portion of the shelf thereby blocking forward movement of the shelf.
Abstract: A coupling apparatus for temporary attachment of a portable medical apparatus, such as an intravenous infusion unit, to a personal mobile transport vehicle such as a wheelchair, hospital bed, gurney or mobile stretcher is disclosed. The apparatus includes a deployable arm which may be pivoted from a storage position alongside the transport vehicle to one or more fully deployed and locked positions for releaseably receiving and securing a portable intravenous infusion unit to the transport vehicle during the transport or relocation of infirmed or ambulatory restricted individuals. The apparatus also includes a stabilization strap for securing and stabilizing medical equipment, intravenous lines or other equipment lines attached to, or emanating from, the portable intravenous infusion unit during a transport operation.
Abstract: A two-part bucket stabilizing apparatus for use with cylindrical joint compound buckets or the like during the mixing of the contents thereof includes a horizontal base member containing an opening for receiving the bottom of the bucket, and a support member having a first edge portion pivotally connected with the base member, and a remote edge portion containing a semi-circular recess. The support member is pivotally operable from an initial horizontal position upwardly and inwardly toward a clamping position above the base portion in which the wall of the semi-circular recess is in clamping engagement with the outer circumferential wall surface of the bucket.
Abstract: An adjustable support structure for a panel computer includes: a cradle having a slide slot at a middle section, at least two fastening slots placed at a bottom surface of the slide slot, and at least two pairs of positioning holes separately corresponding to the fastening slots are placed on two side walls of the slide slot. The back end of the support prop is optionally pushed against one of the fastening slots in the cradle; therefore, the cradle, the back support and the support prop which form a triangularly linked structure. The elastic unit can be pressed to drive the two positioning tabs to leave the positioning holes, so that the support prop can slide along the parallel track until the back support is at a desired leaning angle.
Abstract: A vehicle seat linkage assembly includes a rod. The linkage has a first link with an aperture and a second link adjacent but spaced from the first link and having a slot. Additionally, a drive nut is adjacent the rod. The drive nut has a body portion, one end, another end and an aperture engaging the rod. The one end is inserted into the slot and the another end is inserted into the aperture. When the nut is disposed into the slot and aperture, the nut is rotated to engage the slot and the aperture so that the nut cannot be disengaged from the first link and the second link.

Abstract: A tilt-out laundry bag assembly for use with a bottom hinged cabinet door, comprises a suspension bracket subassembly and a laundry bag subassembly, the latter being suspended from the former. The suspension bracket subassembly includes a pair of parallel inter-bracket rods located in a plane perpendicular to the bottom hinged cabinet door. One of the rods is spaced from the mentioned door, while a second one is located in a position somewhat retracted from that door. The laundry bag subassembly comprises at least one laundry bag and a pair of hangers for each laundry bag. A laundry bag includes a pair of opposite flat panels and a pair of opposite folded panels. Each of the former has at the top a pair of loops for each hanger. Each hanger has a central grip for a hand and at each extremity a semi-circular configuration to fit with each one of the inter-bracket rods.
Abstract: A concrete pole includes an attachment mechanism which provides a structurally sound means of attaching to the pole and permits the use of short, inexpensive bolts. The attachment mechanism includes reinforcing bars, a base plate, an internally threaded fastener insert fixed to the base plate, which provides a path from the base plate, which is embedded in the concrete pole, to the finished outside surface of the pole. One embodiment includes a pipe connecting opposing fastener inserts for added strength.

Abstract: A mounting device for supplying both high and low voltage services in an outdoor setting. One end of the mounting device is adapted to be anchored securely in the ground. A post extending from the ground includes a first electrical box for housing high voltage electrical connections and devices and a second electrical box for housing low voltage connections and devices. If desired by the installer, the mounting device can be configured to provide a single electrical box, which can include either high or low voltage. The top of the mounting device is adapted to accept a light fixture. The ground-anchored portion of the mounting device includes a large entryway to allow a large passageway for lead in of electrical cables. Integral projections extending from the mounting device enable secure anchoring to the ground.
Abstract: A bollard comprising a series of at least two nested, inverted U-shaped forms of decreasing height set around a common vertical axis. Each U-shaped form has an upper transverse portion and two parallel, vertical legs extending from the upper transverse portion. The bollard further comprises at least one center joining plate located below the upper transverse portions of the forms and being substantially perpendicular to the forms, for joining the U-shaped forms together as a unit, the forms being fastened to the at least one center joining plate. The bollard can also include an anchor plate attached to the forms at or adjacent their bottom, for anchoring the forms to a support surface. The bollard can be used in a system comprising at least one other bollard and/or at least one site amenity (for example, seating, lighting, signage, a shelter, a trash can receptacle, and an ash urn), wherein the at least one site amenity is associated with the at least one other bollard, for example by being attached thereto.
Abstract: A locking device of a longitudinal adjustment device of a vehicle seat is provided with a catch bar with periodically arranged snap openings and snap studs that is assigned to a bottom rail of the longitudinal adjustment device and is further provided with a locking unit assigned to a seat rail of the longitudinal adjustment device. The locking device has at least two licking pins that can be inserted into the snap openings independent of one another, they can be disengaged only jointly. The locking pins are arranged in a guide member which has a pin bore for each locking pin. The guide member is provided with an area facing the catch bar. Projections projecting toward the catch bar are arranged on this area and extend as a continuation of the pin bore.
Abstract: A support for supporting a laptop computer has a top tray in cooperation with but not attached to a bottom tray. The top tray is moveable from an inclined working position to a flat storage position. The top tray has a top base having a lip proximal one end. The bottom tray has a bottom base having a flange extending upwardly proximal one end. The flange and/or the bottom base of the bottom tray has an aperture for accepting the lip of the top tray. The lip of the top tray may engage the top of the flange when the top tray is in the working position to prevent the top tray from sliding towards the opposite end of the bottom tray. The lip of the top tray engages the bottom base through the aperture when the top tray is in the storage position to limit sliding of the top tray toward the opposite end of the bottom tray. In the storage position, the support is readily packed together with the computer in the computer's carrying case.
Abstract: An assembled type screen includes screen boards, locating elements secured to vertical edges of the screen boards, and several elongate connecting members connected to the vertical edge portions of the screen boards; the locating elements are outwardly folded at the edges to form detaining portions; the elongate connecting members have at least one pair of opposing lateral walls, which define a lengthwise extending holding room, and an opening between them; each elongate member has a pair of hooked portions on two sides of each of the opening; the vertical edges of the screen boards are passed into respective holding rooms of the elongate members with the detaining edges of the locating elements snapping onto the hooked portions of the elongate members to stop the screen boards from separating from the elongate connecting members.
