  • Patent number: 9616722
Abstract: A hitch pin assembly for securing a shank member to a hitch receiver tube to minimize relative motion between the shank member and receiver tube, comprising an elongated pin having a threaded portion, a threaded nut, an elastomer piece, and a shank member which are mated for tightened engagement compressing the elastomer piece so as to firmly engage the receiver tube. The shank member may include a slot for a corresponding threaded nut and elastomer piece so when the pin is tightened, the nut compresses the elastomer against the interior wall of the shank surface and upwardly, thereby restraining movement of the threaded nut and dampening movement of the shank inside the hitch receiver tube.

  • Patent number: 9610659
Abstract: Provided is a vehicle steering system that is able to restrict a travel amount of a steered shaft in a housing, that is small and that has an excellent strength. The vehicle steering system is a steer-by-wire vehicle steering system that converts rotative power of electric motors into a movement of a steered shaft in an axial direction via a ball screw mechanism. One of contact portions at respective ends of a screw shaft at an intermediate part of the steered shaft passes through a rotor based on a moving direction of the steered shaft so as to contact a corresponding one of the corresponding stoppers thereby restricting a travel amount of the steered shaft. The stoppers are made of a material different from that of the housing and having a high strength.

  • Patent number: 9604512
Abstract: A planter with a two-point hitch is converted to a drawbar configuration through use of an existing through-bore in the planter's pull tongue that originally served as part of a swiveling connection between the tongue and the two-point hitch. A pinned connection to the frame of the conversion unit via this existing through-bore of the planter tongue is augmented with a clamping mechanism that secures the planter tongue in place between two spaced-apart side plates of the conversion unit to prevent relative rotation between the planter tongue and the conversion unit about the axis of the coupling pin. The side plates are shaped so as not to interfere with connection lugs on the pull tongue of the planter where diagonal braces are connected between the tongue and foldable of the planter. Installation requires no modification to the planter, and the conversion unit is entirely removable in a non-destructive manner.

  • Patent number: 9598068
Abstract: In a control system, a transfer is connected to a rotation member between a driving power source and primary driving wheels and distributes dynamic power of the driving power source to secondary drive wheels. A driving power transmission shaft transmits the dynamic power of the driving power source distributed by the transfer to the secondary drive wheels. A connection-disconnection mechanism is disposed between the rotation member and the driving power transmission shaft. First and second clutches are disposed respectively between the driving power transmission shaft and right and left wheels of the secondary drive wheels. The electronic control unit is configured, when switching from a two-wheel-drive running state to a four-wheel-drive running state on the basis of a vehicle running state, to generate a transmission torque in the first clutch or the second clutch after controlling the connection-disconnection mechanism to engage the connection-disconnection mechanism.
