The image former forms an image. The induction heating fusing device fuses the image formed by the image former onto paper. Whether the apparatus has an error is determined by limiting a current applied to a resonance circuit included in the induction heating fusing device to less than a certain level.
Abstract: The present invention provides an imprint apparatus which performs an imprint process of forming a pattern on a substrate by molding an imprint material on the substrate using a mold, the apparatus including a measurement unit configured to measure relative positions of the mold and the substrate, a light source unit configured to emit light for curing the imprint material, a scanning unit configured to scan light from the light source unit on the substrate, and a control unit configured to control the imprint process, wherein the control unit performs the imprint process by causing the scanning unit to scan the light while partially aligning the mold and the substrate with each other based on a measurement result of the measurement unit.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes: a first conveyance roller pair configured to convey a sheet by rotating while tightly sandwiching the sheet; a rotation blade pair disposed on a downstream side of the first conveyance roller pair in a conveyance path of the sheet and configured to cut the sheet in a direction parallel to the conveyance direction by rotating while sandwiching the sheet; and a second conveyance roller pair configured to convey a cut waste sheet cut by the rotation blade pair in the sheet conveyance direction by rotating while tightly sandwiching the cut waste sheet. A rotational speed of the second conveyance roller pair is controlled at a rotational speed higher than a rotational speed of the first conveyance roller pair.
Abstract: Provided are an image forming apparatus and an image forming method capable of coping with a medium exceeding a transport limit of a pair of rollers in image formation in which the medium is transported with the medium interposed between the pair of rollers. In a case where a medium exceeding a transport limit of first transport means to which medium transport using a first roller and a second roller is applied is used, second transport means is used to assist in the medium transport performed by the first transport means. The driving of second driving means for driving the second transport means is controlled using a driving signal applied to the driving control of the first driving means for driving the first transport means. Medium transport in which synchronization is taken between the first transport means and the second transport means is realized.

The housing includes a front region and a rear region adjacent to the front region. The front region includes an inlet to receive media. The rear region includes an outlet to pass media there through. The first set of radiative heating elements is disposed within the front region to heat the media. The second set of radiative heating elements is disposed within the rear region to heat the media. The air handling device is disposed across from the second set of radiative heating elements to jet air within the rear region to cool the media prior to the media being passed through the outlet.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier, a developing section, a transfer section, a pre-transfer conveyance passage, and a guide member. The pre-transfer conveyance passage allows conveyance of the sheet from the developing section to the transfer section. The guide member defines a side of the pre-transfer conveyance passage that faces the transfer surface. The guide member includes: a guide body having a guide surface that faces the transfer surface of the sheet; and a tip section having a curved portion joining an end edge of the guide body, and a distal edge that is on a downstream side in the conveyance direction and faces the image carrier. The distal edge is located at such a position as to allow the transfer surface of the sheet to lie at a space therefrom when a leading end of the sheet is in contact with the image carrying surface.
Abstract: An image forming system capable of properly managing maintenance information on a punch die mounted on a puncher. The puncher punches holes in a sheet using a removably mounted punch die. A punch die memory mounted on the punch die stores maintenance information concerning the punch die. A CPU of the image forming system detects mounting of a punch die. A RAM of the same stores maintenance information concerning each of punch dies mounted on the puncher. When a punch die is mounted on the puncher, the CPU performs comparison between maintenance information is stored in the RAM, and maintenance information stored in the punch die memory, and when the maintenance information stored in the RAM is older, the CPU updates the information in the RAM to the information in the punch die memory.
