Abstract: A latch assembly and an electronic device using the same are provided. The electronic device includes a chassis, a fan module, and the latch assembly. The chassis has a chassis sidewall and a fixing bolt fixed on the chassis sidewall. The fan module is adapted to be accommodated in the chassis. The latch assembly is mounted on a module sidewall of the fan module. The latch assembly includes a latch is pivotally connected to the module sidewall, a moving member movably disposed on the module sidewall and connected to the latch, and a rotating hook pivoted on the module sidewall and connected to the moving member. The rotating hook and the latch are respectively connected to opposite sides of the moving member. When the fan module is placed in the chassis, the rotating hook of the latch assembly is adapted to be hooked to the fixing bolt of the chassis.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes: a chassis having an inner surface, and an elevation portion provided at one edge of the inner surface and raised to be higher than the inner surface; a display panel having a display surface, and a rear surface supported by the inner surface of the chassis; a bezel provided along an outer periphery of the display surface of the display panel, and supported by the elevation portion of the chassis; and a double-sided adhesive tape capable of being tensile peeled by pulling a tab for tensile peeling operation, and extending from the inner surface to the elevation portion of the chassis, to fix the display panel to the inner surface of the chassis and fix the bezel to the elevation portion of the chassis.

The device may have a display on a front face of the device and may have a glass layer that forms a housing wall on a rear face of the device. The glass housing wall may be provided with regions having different appearances. The regions may be textured, may have coatings such as thin-film interference filter coatings formed from stacks of dielectric material having alternating indices of refraction, may have metal coating layers, and/or may have ink coating layers. Textured surfaces, cavities, coatings, and other decoration may be embedded in glass structures that are joined with chemical bonds at diffusion-bonding interfaces.

Abstract: Embodiments of an apparatus and system are described for a hybrid computing device. Some embodiments may comprise a computing device having an enclosure arranged to support a display on a front of the enclosure and a cover mechanically coupled to a side of the enclosure, the cover comprising a first portion having at least one integrated input device and a second portion having at least one flexible seam arranged to allow the second portion to adjustably pivot around the seam. Abstract: A system includes a computing system, a snap rivet, and a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). The computing system includes a chassis. The snap rivet includes a rivet and a cap, and the cap is secured to the chassis. The PCBA includes a pin base. The pin base has a washer portion with a hole. The pin base is configured to receive the cap through the hole. The cap protrudes through the hole and mechanically engages the rivet to secure the PCBA to the chassis. The snap rivet provides for tool-less installation and removal of the PCBA from the chassis of the computing system.
