  • Patent number: 11419269
Abstract: A head assembly having ancillary fan assemblies can be operationally mounted to the outlet of a conventional harvester extractor. The ancillary fan assemblies can generally direct suspended trash materials in a substantially upward and laterally outboard direction toward both lateral sides of a harvester. A duct assembly having an inlet and an outlet generally extends from each ancillary fan assembly to a position generally above a track of a harvester. Trash material expelled by a harvester extractor enters the head assembly and is directed by the ancillary fan assemblies into each of the duct assemblies, through said duct assemblies, and onto the upper surfaces of the tracks of the harvester. The trash material is then conveyed by the tracks toward the front or forward portion of the harvester, where it falls off of the tracks generally in the path of the harvester.

  • Patent number: 11399468
Abstract: A baler includes a housing forming a baling chamber. The baling chamber includes an inlet defining an inlet width. The inlet width extends substantially across the baling chamber, between a first lateral side and a second lateral side. A crop distributor defines a distributor width and includes a forward end and a rearward end. The distributor width is substantially less than the inlet width. One of the baling chamber and the crop distributor is moveable relative to the other of the baling chamber and the crop distributor, such that the rearward end of the crop distributor is laterally moveable, relative to the inlet of the baling chamber, between the first lateral side and the second lateral side. Lateral movement of the rearward end of the crop distributor relative to the baling chamber distributes the cut crop material across the inlet width of the baling chamber.
