Abstract: A heating roller driving device for a heating roller of an image forming apparatus. The heating roller driving device includes a motor for supplying the heating roller with a driving force for the heating roller to contact or separate from a photosensitive belt. A motor controller is provided for controlling the operation of the motor, and a main controller is included for providing the motor controller with a predetermined command to operate the motor.

Abstract: An electronic system which requires high current provides a connector assembly which enables power supplies to be plugged into the same etched backplane as the logic printed circuit boards. The connector assembly handles high current, typically 150 amps at 5V DC. A female connector includes sets of fingers which flex at the base of the fingers to provide a low resistance contact.

Abstract: There is disclosed a click disc switch assembly comprising a plate-like base having on it electroconductive ink paths including (a) "row" paths each including a respective row of contact pads in a row-and-column matrix of such pads on the base, and (b) "column" paths corresponding to the columns of the matrix and including respective junction pads. Overlying the columns of the matrix are click disc strips secured to the rest of the assembly solely by being adhered to an overlying sheet sealing the top of the assembly. Interposed between the strips and the "row" paths is an insulating layer deposited on the base to cover portions of the row paths while leaving uncovered their junction pads.
