  • Patent number: 8795080
Abstract: A system, computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for providing a game action sweep mechanic are presented. A virtual game environment that includes a first virtual object and a second virtual object may be generated for a user. User interactions involving a game pointer and a selection input are then monitored. In response to detecting the selection input being activated while the game pointer is located proximate to the first virtual object, a game action is then performed on the first virtual object. A game action sweep mode is then activated. While the game action sweep mode is active, the game action is then performed on the second virtual game object in response to detecting the game pointer is located proximate to the second virtual object.

  • Patent number: 8771060
Abstract: Techniques for providing progressive games in a gaming environment are disclosed. Progressive configuration data can effectively define one or more progressive games for a gaming environment that includes one or more gaming machines. The progressive gaming data can, for example, be provided as a set of rules (e.g., rules in an XSLT form). A progressive configurator uses the progressive configuration data and gaming data received from the gaming machines in order to effectively implement one or more progressive games. The gaming data can, for example, include information about a gaming machine (e.g., serial number, network, location), one or more games available on the gaming machine (e.g., type of the game, minimum and maximum bet for a game), and data regarding a specific game instance (e.g., amount wagered, outcome of a game instance).

  • Patent number: 8764542
Abstract: A game of chance and a method of playing a game of chance with a unique format and innovative wagering options, including parlay and progressive betting. At least one player must place at least one bet for the game to commence. Wagers can be placed on one event or multiple random events occurring simultaneously. Winning payouts are calculated based on the odds of the single event or the cumulative odds of multiple simultaneous events. The progressive bet can only be placed if another wager is simultaneously made, and is paid out as a separate bet. Once commenced, the game incorporates a plurality of random event generators to generate outcomes, which are paid out depending on predetermined payout odds. This game and method would be well suited for casinos in table, hybrid or electronic formats. This game could be played as a board game, a video game or a machine game.
