Abstract: When change back is due to a customer at a transaction terminal after a cash payment made by the customer during checkout, a code is generated and rendered on a display of the terminal. The customer captures the code with a camera of a customer-operated device causing a mobile application to launch on the device requesting that the customer designate how the customer wants the change back to be provided. The customer can select a loyalty wallet, a digital wallet, and/or a donation wallet for transferring some or all of the change back. The designated amount of the change back is transferred to the customer-selected wallet(s) and any remaining cash bills still due to the customer as remaining change back is provided to the customer and the transaction concludes at the terminal.

Abstract: Provided are computer-implemented methods for event-based communication and messaging that may include receiving transaction data for a transaction from a mobile device controlled by a requesting user, generating a payment request message based on the transaction data, transmitting the payment request message to a first plurality of mobile devices, and determining if at least one payment response message is received from at least one mobile device of the first plurality of mobile devices within a first time period. In some non-limiting embodiments or aspects, the methods may further include transmitting the payment request message to a second plurality of mobile devices, receiving a payment response message including an indication that the transaction is authorized, and processing the transaction using a payment account associated with the mobile device that transmitted the payment response message. Systems and computer program products are also provided.

Abstract: Systems and methods of forensic analysis of cryptocurrency transactions are described herein. A method can include obtaining fiat-based transaction data from a bank account, identifying a purchase of a cryptocurrency from fiat-based transaction data and cryptocurrency exchange trade history data from a cryptocurrency exchange where the cryptocurrency was purchased, obtaining cryptocurrency-based transaction data that identifies downstream cryptocurrency transaction data where the cryptocurrency was transferred out of the cryptocurrency exchange; and scoring a user who purchased or used the cryptocurrency based on the fiat-based transaction data, the cryptocurrency exchange trade history data, and the cryptocurrency-based transaction data.

Abstract: Images capture locations of items on store shelves or on store display areas. An item inventory is automatically maintained from the images. Re-stocking rules for each item type are processed and a specific item type is automatically ordered from a vendor when dictated by a corresponding rule. A delivery of the specific items ordered is tracked within the store from the images for re-stocking the specific items within the store during the delivery by a vendor representative. The specific item delivery and restocking are verified, and an automatic acceptance of the specific items is sent to the vendor associated with the delivery when verified. In an embodiment, store personnel (admin, manager, owner) are automatically notified with a successful restocking. In an embodiment, payment is automatically made to the supplier when store personnel confirms the delivery.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in locating one or more merchant terminals. One example method generally includes accessing, by a computing device, interaction data for at least one interaction between a merchant and a user at a merchant terminal, where the interaction data includes a temporal indicator. In addition, the method includes receiving, by the computing device, location data associated with the at least one interaction and matching the interaction to the location data, based on the temporal indicator in the interaction data. The method then includes, in response to matching the interaction data to the location data, identifying, by the computing device, a location indicated by the location data as an actual location of the merchant terminal.

Abstract: Embodiments herein describe providing feedback to a shopper at a POS system using a computer vision system. Many items at a store may lack barcodes or other identifying marks such as produce. The shopper may have to perform an action to identify the item to the POS system. The computer vision system can double check the identify provided by the shopper to reduce mistakes and deter nefarious actors. If the computer vision system cannot independently confirm that the item being purchased matched the identity provided by the shopper, the POS system can display a graphical user interface (GUI) that includes an image of the item captured by the computer vision system along with identification data of the item identified by the shopper. This gives the shopper a chance to correct any mistakes.

Abstract: A system may use sensor data from a facility to generate tentative values associated with an event, such as the identification of an item removed from a shelf of the facility. A confidence value associated with each of the tentative values may be less than a confidence threshold. In response, inquiry data seeking confirmation of a tentative value from an associate is generated and sent to one or more associates in the facility. Responses from the associates are collected to determine a selection of one of the tentative values. The selected tentative value is designated as output data for the system. Thereafter, the output data and the original sensor data are designated as training data, which can then be used to train or update machine learning systems. Subsequent use of the updated machine learning systems can yield more accurate results.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for the recognition and allocation of revenue generated by a subscription based pricing model or plan that is applied to a product or service. Embodiments respond to customer needs for a flexible and powerful revenue allocation engine to permit correct revenue distribution within a subscription economy and effectively trace changes to a revenue schedule and the resulting revenue recognition. Embodiments can efficiently react to changes to a subscription agreement and calculate a new distribution for a revenue schedule and its impact on revenue recognition and future revenue projections. In one embodiment, the systems and methods includes a revenue recognition/allocation engine that operates to evaluate the impact of “charge events” on revenue generation, taking into account relevant business rules and revenue recognition principles.
