  • Patent number: 7769816
Abstract: A method for tracking a transmission status of one or more data elements to one or more devices. In one example, the method includes providing a list including one or more devices and one or more data elements; processing the list to determine a data element of the one or more data elements to transmit to a device of one of the one or more devices; and upon successfully transmitting the data element to the device, adjusting the list so that the list indicates that the device has received the transmitted data element. In this manner, the status of whether a particular data element has been sent to a particular device can be easily derived from the list.

  • Patent number: 7472165
Abstract: By using a support program for a web application server according to the present invention, it is possible to completely control an order of executing processes of a processing flow including a transition of a plurality of screens in a web application by a side of the server, and to describe the processing flow as “one unit of executable program code”. Also, it is possible to record, point by point, respective items or the like of an entry form included in an HTML document to be sent to a client in the server as a form ledger, compare and verify the respective items with the items in the form ledger at the time of receiving input data corresponding to the entry form from the client, and thereby to automatically discard an unauthorized input or the like without depending upon the application program, by using the support program for the web application server.

  • Patent number: 7418478
Abstract: A system and method for application discovery in a computing environment. In one embodiment, a system may include a plurality of applications configured to operate in a distributed computing environment, where the distributed computing environment may include multiple computing platforms, and an application discovery manager configured to detect the presence of the plurality of applications. In one specific implementation of the system, the application discovery manager may be further configured to identify individual components of a given application subsequent to detecting the presence of the given application. In another specific implementation of the system, the application discovery manager may be further configured to identify a dependency of a given application on one or more other applications subsequent to detecting the presence of the given application.
