Abstract: A method for tracking a transmission status of one or more data elements to one or more devices. In one example, the method includes providing a list including one or more devices and one or more data elements; processing the list to determine a data element of the one or more data elements to transmit to a device of one of the one or more devices; and upon successfully transmitting the data element to the device, adjusting the list so that the list indicates that the device has received the transmitted data element. In this manner, the status of whether a particular data element has been sent to a particular device can be easily derived from the list.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method processes issue data pertaining to a system. Issue data is received from a reporting entity, the issue data identifying an issue pertaining to the system and the reporting entity. A database is accessed to retrieve performance data regarding the reporting entity. The performance data is indicative of a past performance of the reporting entity in reporting issues pertaining to the system. A response activity, responsive to the issue, is automatically prioritized utilizing the performance data regarding the reporting entity.

Abstract: By using a support program for a web application server according to the present invention, it is possible to completely control an order of executing processes of a processing flow including a transition of a plurality of screens in a web application by a side of the server, and to describe the processing flow as “one unit of executable program code”. In one specific implementation of the system, the application discovery manager may be further configured to identify individual components of a given application subsequent to detecting the presence of the given application. In another specific implementation of the system, the application discovery manager may be further configured to identify a dependency of a given application on one or more other applications subsequent to detecting the presence of the given application.

Abstract: Upon receiving a request from a communications terminal, a server apparatus performs some processes and returns processing results to the communications terminal. Before returning the processing results, the server apparatus sends the communications terminal a response containing an address needed to acquire the processing results to prevent communications from being cut off due to a communications timeout which occurs, for example, if the processing on the server takes time.

Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for the identification and management of mass unsolicited e-mail, commonly known by the term “SPAM.” The system and method function by assembling a group of users, identifying portions of all of the e-mail sent to those users, and then counting, among all of the users, the number of instances of receipt of identical pieces of e-mail. If the number of instances attains a certain value, it can be identified as Spam and managed according to user preferences.
