  • Patent number: 12025643
Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for compensating for non-ideal isotropic behavior of a field probe are disclosed. A method includes, during a calibration procedure, for each of a plurality of positions of the field probe relative to a source, each position denoted by a set of angles (?,?), performing the following steps: measuring a field by the sensors of the probe, storing the measurements and the set of angles (?,?) for each measurement, computing a correction factor for the set of angles (?,?) based on the measurement, and storing the correction factors. During a measurement procedure, each sensor measures a component of the field. A set of angles is determined based on the sensor measurements, and a correction factor is determined based on the set of angles. The correction factor may then be multiplied by the sensor measurements to obtain the corrected field measurements.

  • Patent number: 11977044
Abstract: Circuits and methods for extending the linear range of IC-based environmental sensors. The IC-based environmental sensors may sense environmental characteristic such as humidity levels, the presence and/or concentration of specific chemicals, and/or the presence and/or concentration of specific biological molecules. The linearity of an environmental sensor can be extended by heating the sensor within a range of non-linear operation to artificially induce the sensor to operate within its linear range, and then accurately measuring, either directly or indirectly, the temperature rise caused by such heating. A correction factor is then determined based on the measured temperature rise that is combined with measurements from the sensor while operating within its non-linear range in order to generate an accurate estimate of an actual environmental characteristic.

  • Patent number: 11977115
Abstract: In certain aspects, a pattern generation system includes a pattern generator, a memory, a pin function register, a pin function mapper, and a set of source selectors. The pattern generator generates a plurality of source patterns. The memory stores a lookup table set. The lookup table set describes a mapping relationship between the plurality of source patterns and a set of test channels, and is indexed based on a pin function index. The pin function register stores a value of the pin function index. The pin function mapper executes a pin-mapping operation to generate a set of source selection signals based on the value of the pin function index and the lookup table set. Each source selector selects and outputs a source signal from the plurality of source patterns to a corresponding test channel based on a corresponding source selection signal received from the pin function mapper.
