  • Patent number: 11968154
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method of operating a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication with a network. In some aspects, the UE obtains a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) from a network. The MAC CE may be configured to indicate any one of a plurality of state transition actions for a secondary cell. The UE transitions to a secondary cell dormant state when a state transition action indicated by the MAC CE includes a transition to the secondary cell dormant state. The UE operates in the secondary cell dormant state.

  • Patent number: 11949626
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a terminal device that allows constraints on user allocation to be prevented and spread codes to be allocated in a scheduler when non-adaptive HARQ is employed using a PHICH. A codeword generator generates code words by encoding data, a layer mapping unit places each CW in one or a plurality of layers, a DMRS generator generates a reference signal for each layer in which a CW is placed by using any resource among a plurality of resources defined by a mutually orthogonal plurality of OCCs, and an ACK/NACK demodulator receives a response signal indicating a retransmission request. When a response signal requesting retransmission of only a CW placed in a plurality of layers is received, the DMRS generator uses each resource having the same OCC among the plurality of resources for the reference signals generated in the corresponding layers.

  • Patent number: 11950198
Abstract: A WTRU may initiate access for a PDU session over multiple access networks. The WTRU may register with two or more access networks. For example, the WTRU may register with a 3GPP access network (e.g., LTE Advanced) and a non-3GPP access network (e.g., Wi-Fi). The WTRU may determine to request a multi-access PDU session for a (e.g., at least one) PDU session. A multi-access PDU session may correspond to a PDU session where the WTRU communicates one or more PDUs associated with the PDU session over the 3GPP access network and one or more PDUs associated with the PDU session over the non-3GPP access network. The WTRU may receive a confirmation message indicating that a multi-access PDU session has been established. The WTRU may send uplink data over the 3GPP access network and the non-3GPP access network, e.g., in accordance with the established multi-access PDU session.

  • Patent number: 11917467
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Devices in a wireless communications system may exchange information related to one or more default operating frequencies. A wireless device may identify default operating frequencies within an ultra-wide bandwidth and transmit an indication of the default operating frequencies to one or more other wireless devices. A first wireless device may identify one or more default operating frequencies of a second device (e.g., a user equipment (UE)), and the first wireless device may provide the default operating frequencies of the UE to another wireless device. For example, a UE may be handed over from a source device to a target device, and the source device may provide the UE's default operating frequencies to the target device when handing over the UE to the target device. The UE and the target device may communicate over the bandwidth based on the default operating frequencies.

  • Patent number: 11916846
Abstract: A method pertaining to leftover bits processing for proportional round-robin resource unit (RU) parsing in extreme high-throughput (EHT) systems involves processing a stream of bits to provide processed bits. The method also involves transmitting the processed bits to a station (STA) over a combination of multiple resource units (RUs) assigned to the STA. In processing the stream of bits, the method may involve parsing the stream of bits to the combination of multiple RUs. Moreover, in an event of leftover bits remaining from the parsing, the method may further involve distributing the leftover bits to one or more RUs but not all RUs of the combination of multiple RUs.

  • Patent number: 11838211
Abstract: A system, and corresponding method, is described for finding the optimal or the best set of routes from a master to each of its connected slaves, for all the masters and slaves using an interconnect, such as a network-on-chip (NoC). Some embodiments of the invention apply to a class of interconnects that utilize a two-dimensional mesh topology, wherein a set of switches are arranged on a two-dimensional grid. Masters (initiators or sources) inject data packets or traffic into the interconnect. Slaves (targets or destinations) service the data packets or traffic traveling through the interconnect. The interconnect includes switches and links that are part of a path. Additionally, one or more optimal routes, which is defined by the system, move the traffic in a way that avoids deadlock scenarios.

  • Patent number: 11838201
Abstract: A method includes generating a first shortest path tree for traffic routing in a network, the first shortest path tree identifying a corresponding shortest path from the network node to other nodes in the network and generating a second shortest path tree for traffic routing after removing an element from the network. The second shortest path tree identifies a corresponding shortest path from the network node to the other nodes in the network with the element removed. A third shortest path tree is generated, which is a weighted version of the second shortest path tree with a weight value added to any node or link in the network sharing a SRLG value with the element removed from the network. Network traffic is enforced based on a comparison of the third shortest path tree with at least one of the first shortest path tree and the second shortest path tree.
