Abstract: A gateway device and method distribute available airtime across client devices in a wireless local area network (WLAN). The method includes establishing a wireless connection with a plurality of client devices in the WLAN, determining whether each client device is a legacy Wi-Fi station (STA) or a Wi-Fi 6 STA, respectively, and distributing the available airtime across the client devices based on whether the plurality of client devices include legacy Wi-Fi STAs only, Wi-Fi 6 STAs only, or combinations thereof, and depending on whether or not the Wi-Fi 6 STAs have multi-user, multiple input/multiple output (MU-MIMO) capability.
Abstract: A transmission method is provided for a communication system in which communications using a plurality of communication methods having different transmission parameters are performed at the same frequency (in frequency bands that at least partially overlap with each other). The transmission method includes: generating a first symbol group that includes a control symbol for causing a communication partner apparatus to recognize that communication using a first communication method is to be performed and a second symbol group that includes a data symbol for the first communication method; transmitting the first symbol group at a first transmit power; and transmitting the second symbol group at a second transmit power that is smaller than the first transmit power.

Abstract: A method, user equipment, and system are provided which can open an ad-hoc Push-To-Talk (PTT) over Cellular (PoC) session for a call target group whose group identifier is managed in a remote network domain when the ad-hoc PoC session is opened. A PoC client requesting session initiation sends, to a first PoC server of a home network, a session INVITE message containing information of at least one group identifier. The first PoC server checks the group identifier information and sends a group list information request message to a second PoC server hosting a group identifier when identifier information of a network group other than the home network is included. The second PoC server acquires list information about a group in the request message and sends the information to the first PoC server.
