The first layer comprises an inclined entry passage open to the pill reservoir and an exit passage open to a dispense passage. A portion of the chamber layer can travel linearly in close communication within a tubular shaped portion of the first layer.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a dispensing device capable of storing and dispensing strips/films. The dispensing device can deliver films of preselected length providing a predetermined medication dose, when required by user making it convenient for user to store, carry and administer the required doses. The dispensing device can allow retrieval and application of strips with minimal manipulation, permitting single-hand operation, thereby maintaining sterility of the strips/films. The dispenser can hold a pharmaceutical or herbal formulation on a suitable delivery material such as a film in roll form or cartridge form. The roll or the cartridge can last for number of doses sufficient for few days thus enabling a user to carry his medicine requirement in a convenient manner. Further, it provides hygienic storage and offers consistent and precise dispensing without user having to touch the thin film strip.
