Abstract: An example method is provided in according with one implementation of the present disclosure. The method comprises generating, via a processor, a set of hashes for each of a plurality of objects. The method also comprises computing, via the processor, a high-dimensional sparse vector for each object, where the vector represents the set of hashes for each object. The method further comprises computing, via the processor, a combined high-dimensional sparse vector from the high-dimensional sparse vectors for all objects and computing a hash suppression threshold. The method also comprises determining, via the processor, a group of hashes to be suppressed by using the hash suppression threshold, and suppressing, via the processor, the group of selected hashes when performing an action.

  • Patent number: 11163812
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a classification apparatus includes the following elements. The target log extraction unit extracts a set of dialogue logs for a dialogue from dialogue logs for dialogues between a user and an interactive system, the dialogue including a first speech and a second speech of the user, the set of dialogue logs including information indicative of a classification used for a search performed by the interactive system based on the first speech, information indicative of a failure in the first search, and data acquired as a result of a search performed by the interactive system based on the second speech. The classification relation generator generates a classification relation in which the classification is associated with the data.

  • Patent number: 11157510
Abstract: Disclosed are system and methods for processing and storing data files, using a data edge file format. The data edge file separates information about what symbols are in a data file and information about the corresponding location of those symbols in the data file. The described technique converts a source file comprising symbols into a data edge index having a manifest portion, a symbol portion, and a locality portion. The symbol portion contains a sorted unique set of the symbols from the source file, and the locality portion contains a plurality of location values referencing the symbol portion. The technique includes normalizing the structured data from the source file by modifying the locality manifest portion of the data edge file to include a description of at least one nonexistent column empty locality value at a respective position within the locality file representing an omission of data at an associated the respective position in the source file.

  • Patent number: 11144500
Abstract: The embodiments relate to assigning data to processors of a file system. Metadata associated with respective blocks of data, and an initial batch of the blocks is assigned to nodes of a file system based on the metadata. Unassigned blocks are selectively assigned to one or more of the nodes. The selective assignment includes constructing a linear regression model based on node data, and determining a value for each node based on the linear regression model. Each value is associated with a predicted load corresponding to a new assignment of one or more unassigned blocks.

  • Patent number: 11100184
Abstract: Internet searches sometimes provide search results referencing webpages that do not contain all search term elements submitted by a user. The user may then click on such Internet search results where referenced webpages, and/or their descendants, do not contain important search term elements. Also, advertisements are sometimes placed on search results webpages that relate to the user's search term elements, even though some of those search terms are missing in referenced and/or descendant webpages. The present invention is directed to: annotating Internet search results to indicate missing search term elements on referenced and descendant webpages; optionally filtering out search results referencing webpages with missing terms; and showing advertisements related to search term elements.

  • Patent number: 11068437
Abstract: Techniques are provided for using a sparse file to create a hot archive of a pluggable database of a container database. In an embodiment and while a source pluggable database is in service, a source database server creates a clone of the source pluggable database. Also while the source pluggable database is in service, the source database server creates an archive of the source pluggable database that is based on the clone. Eventually, a need arises to consume the archive. A target database server (which may also be the source database server) creates a target pluggable database based on the archive.

Abstract: In some examples, natural language unification based robotic agent control may include ascertaining, by a robotic agent, an image of an object or an environment, and ascertaining a plurality of natural language insights for the image. A semantic relatedness may be determined between each insight of the plurality of insights, and a semantic relatedness graph may be generated for the plurality of insights. For each insight of the plurality of insights, at least one central concept may be identified. Based on the semantic relatedness graph and the identified at least one central concept, the plurality of insights may be clustered to generate at least one insights cluster. For insights included in the least one insights cluster, a unified insight may be generated. Further, an operation associated with the robotic agent, the object, or the environment may be controlled by the robotic agent and based on the unified insight.

  • Patent number: 11061879
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for indexing a stream of files is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a file; generating a set of atomic indexes based on the file contents; storing the atomic indexes in a current index; and if the current index reaches a threshold criterion, freezing the current index into a read-only form, propagating the current index to one or more distributed databases, and generating a new index for future insertions. In some embodiments, the method further comprises one or more of providing an interface to query the databases for files matching a particular signature; searching the databases using a YARA-specified signature; converting a user-provided signature in the YARA format to an index-acceleratable format; retrieving a set of files that are possible matches of the particular signature; verifying that each file of the set of files is a match of the particular signature; and providing the files through the interface.
