  • Patent number: 7499967
Abstract: The present invention provides a method, apparatus and computer program product which enable a web service gateway which provides support for business services which are described using a particular document format, for example Web Service Definition Language (WSDL), to further provide support for business services which are described using a different document format, for example in a business to business (b2b) profile such as specified by RosettaNet. The business service provides its profile to the gateway which generates a document from the profile and then uses the generated document to enable a web client, which recognises the document format but not the profile format, to access the web service via the gateway.

  • Patent number: 7475111
Abstract: A computer implemented method of information capture is provided. Each node in a knowledge network associated with a first piece of expertise information that communicates with at least one other node associated with the first piece of expertise information is aggregated to form a first expertise network. Each node in the first expertise network associated with a second piece of expertise information that communicates with at least one other node associated with the second piece of expertise information is aggregated to form a second expertise network. Visual representations of the knowledge network, the first expertise network, and the second expertise network are generated. Trends and patterns are determined using the visualization of the knowledge network, the visualization of the first expertise network, and the visualization of the second expertise network.

  • Patent number: 7464157
Abstract: An information transfer system includes an information panel which controls electrical equipment and includes a first transmission and reception section. The system also includes a server which is communicably connected via a network to the information panel and includes a second transmission and reception section and a trigger generation section which generates a communication request trigger for making a request to communicate with the information panel. The first transmission and reception section transmits information based on a UDP protocol periodically to the server, the second transmission and reception section receives the information based on the UDP protocol. When the communication request trigger is generated, the second transmission and reception section transmits request response information based on the UDP protocol or based on a TCP protocol to a transmission-origin address of the information.

  • Patent number: 7454470
Abstract: The invention provides a system and method for analyzing a collection of communication messages. The communication messages may be any one of a collection of electronic mail messages, voicemail messages, instant messaging dialogues and other forms of communications. The collections of communications, such as electronic mail messages, may be selected by a user and then subsequently processed to determine the identity of any of the user's contacts within the communications. The contacts may then be arranged in a relative priority arrangement whereby contacts which have been identified as engaging in prior reciprocal communications with the user are given higher priority. Higher priority may also be given to contacts which engage in more recent communications with the user. Specific contact relationships may be inferred from the communications depending on whether specific contacts are repeatedly mentioned within the communication messages.

  • Patent number: 7447800
Abstract: A mobile router device connects a mobile network containing several terminal devices and moving in a backbone network with the backbone network. The mobile router device decides whether to operate as a master router which is a router for actually connecting the mobile network with the backbone network. The mobile router device records a virtual address and produces a care of address which is an address that the mobile router can use at the moving destination. The mobile router device generates and transmits a binding update message for correlating the virtual address to the care of address when the mobile router device operates as the master router.
