Abstract: New route information is received. The new route information comprises an origin location, a destination location, and a time. A route is determined based on the new route information. Route data corresponding to the route is analyzed based on a high cognitive load model to identify one or more high cognitive load portions of the route. The route data comprises at least one of (a) point of interest data, (b) entity of interest data, or (c) roadway data. Familiarization information is generated for the high cognitive load portions. The familiarization information comprises (a) familiarization content and (b) a trigger point. The familiarization content is configured to be provided to a user via a user interface of a vehicle apparatus when, based on a location sensor of the vehicle apparatus, it is determined that the vehicle apparatus has reached the trigger point. The familiarization information is provided to the vehicle apparatus.
Abstract: An electronic device is provided which automatically adjusts settings based on the environment of the electronic device. The settings of the electronic device which are adjusted may be security settings, filter settings, or status for instant messaging in dependence on the determined location of the electronic device.

Abstract: The present invention includes a telephone keypad adapted to be mounted to a back surface of a mobile telephone, a mobile telephone including such keypad. The keypad includes a plurality of alphanumerical keys adapted for allowing text entry into the mobile telephone; and an attachment part for mounting the keypad to the mobile telephone.
Abstract: In general, techniques are described for modifying control plane messages for subscriber sessions with a network device to add and/or modify discrete information elements and thereby conform the messages to different versions of mobile network specifications, including roaming protocols, executed by different mobile networks or by heterogeneous infrastructure elements within a mobile network. In some examples, an input network interface of a network device receives a roaming protocol message on an interface connecting a first support node of a first mobile network and a second support node of a second mobile network. A roaming protocol module of the network device modifies the roaming protocol message by adding or modifying a discrete information element to conform the roaming protocol message to a roaming protocol of the second mobile network. An output network interface of the network device sends the modified roaming protocol message to the second support node.
Abstract: An emergency call receiving unit for a vehicle. The emergency call receiving unit includes: a detection unit for detecting a trigger event of an accident-damaged vehicle; a control unit for generating a locating signal; a transmitting unit for repeated transmission of the locating signal to a receiver and the repeated transmission of the locating signal is triggered by a trigger event and the locating signal enables finding of the vehicle. A number of the rescue guideline of the respective vehicle and an RSSI for the rescue signal are received upon locating at least one vehicle involved in an accident depending on the reception field strength of the locating signal.
Abstract: A method for handover of a mobile terminal from a source node to a target node in a wireless telecommunications network, including the steps of: adding an indication in the preparation phase by which source node indicates to the target node if it is the one preferred or not. If a target node is not the one preferred but is still selected by the UE, it may indicate this to the source node as by a specific new message that comes earlier in the handover process than a message requesting the source node to release resources following successful handover to a new node. The source node can then in this case cancel handover preparations to other target nodes earlier and also start data forwarding where applicable earlier.
