Abstract: A method of incrementally replicating investigative analysis data is disclosed along with a system for performing the same. The method and system provide the ability to break a data replication job into multiple “replication chunks” which can be exported and imported separately. By doing so, the method and system can efficiently replicate large numbers of data object changes over an unreliable data network.

Abstract: A computer system for managing a configuration of analytic elements comprises computer-executable instructions that configure the computer system to receive, at the computer system, a dataset of information, which can include analytic elements executable within a network-connected software application and attributes associated with the analytic elements. Based on the dataset of information, the system can define rules configured to describe attributes of analytic elements. Additionally, the system can be configured to store the rules within a digital database that includes a set of rules configured to describe attributes of analytic elements.

Abstract: A method and system for generating a hierarchical data structure is described. The hierarchical data structure is comprised of a plurality of nodes, wherein each node represents a record. The system monitors the generation of the hierarchical data structure to determine if the number of nodes in the hierarchical data structure exceeds a predetermined maximum number of nodes for the hierarchical data structure. The maximum number of nodes is independent of a width and a height of the hierarchical data structure. The system generates a notification in response to a determination that the number of nodes in the hierarchical data structure exceeds the maximum number of nodes.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for referenced access control lists. In one aspect, a method includes accessing an object hierarchy for a plurality of objects, each object being representative of one of a storage location or a file. The object hierarchy includes for each object, a respective node, for each object that is a parent object having a child object, a directed edge connecting the node representing the parent object. In addition, for each object, including metadata that includes an access control list identifier that identifies an access control list for the object and that is owned by an access control list root object. The method including receiving updates to an access control list for particular objects, generating a new access control list, and storing the new access control list identifier in metadata for each object that descends from the particular object.
Abstract: Computerized systems for managing routing of an electronic file include computer-executable instructions, executable by one or more processors of the system, to cause the system to as least: receive and parse an electronic file to detect one or more words in the content of electronic file that are indicative of potential routing destinations, such as storage silos, associated with the one or more detected words; (ii) determine a set of corresponding and likely routing destinations for the electronic file, from a set of potential routing destinations, specifically based on the one or more words; and (iii) identify one or more potential changes to the words of the electronic file (based on historical data, user input, destination storage attributes, key attributes and/or other data) that are sufficient to trigger a different set of one or more corresponding routing destinations for the electronic file.

Abstract: A system and method for recommendation engine initialization and new user characterization. An implementation of the platform is a mobile application.
Abstract: A system and method that provides a rule based randomized media content management system. The system includes a database that stores media content that is associated with category metadata that identifies content of the media content with corresponding categories. Moreover, a programming rules engine generates a list of approved media content based on business rules and a predictive rules engine generates media content selection characteristics based on media display device data and media consumption data associated with the viewer. Furthermore, a media content playlist engine is provided that generates a media content playlist by applying the generated media content selection characteristics to the list of approved media content to select media content, such that the resource consumption by the media display device is minimized by selecting media content that is targeted to the viewer of the media display device according to one or more business rules.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present technology relate managing database query concurrency. A method of the present technology can include receiving a query, generating a first query plan that can be used to execute the query in system memory without any system memory constraints, and estimating a system memory cost for executing the query in the system memory using the first query plan. The method can also include placing the query in a queue if available system memory does not satisfy the estimated system memory cost. The method can further include conditionally selecting the query from the queue, conditionally generating a second query plan for the query that can be used to execute the query in the system memory in compliance with a system memory constraint, and conditionally executing the query in the system memory.
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for filtering vehicle information. For instance, the method may include receiving a vehicle search request from a user device, the vehicle search request including conditions with corresponding weights. The method may also include, in response to receiving the vehicle search request, forming a search query based on the conditions and the weights of the vehicle search request; obtaining vehicle information; filtering the vehicle information based on the search query to obtain a result set and a partial match set; and transmitting a search result message based on the result set and the partial match set to the user device.
Abstract: A system and method for a platform identifies and connects like-minded individuals based on interaction. An implementation of the platform is a mobile application.
Abstract: A technology for determining accuracy estimates for classifications used in an electronic catalog. In one example, classifications for product groupings included in an electronic catalog may be updated as a result of the classifications inaccurately representing products included in the product groupings. The electronic catalog of products may be grouped into a plurality of product groupings using classifications. Classifications of product groupings that inaccurately represent products included in the product grouping may be updated with suggested classifications. Update metrics for updates made to the grouping classifications may be collected and the update metrics may be used to calculate an accuracy estimate for the classifications used in the electronic catalog.
Abstract: Implementations provide an efficient system for calculating inner products between high-dimensionality vectors. An example method includes clustering database items represented as vectors, selecting a cluster center for each cluster, and storing the cluster center as an entry in a first layer codebook. The method also includes, for each database item, calculating a residual based on the cluster center for the cluster the database item is assigned to and projecting the residual into subspaces. The method also includes determining, for each of the subspaces, an entry in a second layer codebook for the subspace, and storing the entry in the first layer codebook and the respective entry in the second layer codebook for each of the subspaces as a quantized vector for the database item. The entry can be used to categorize an item represented by a query vector or to provide database items responsive to a query vector.

Abstract: Systems and methods for migrating a metadata server are provided. A source metadata server is transferred to a new metadata server. During the migration process, only one of the metadata servers is active. Over time, data is transferred to the new metadata server until the new metadata server is fully synchronized with the source metadata server. Then metadata service process is terminated on the source metadata server and started on the new metadata server. The new metadata server transitions to read/write and normal file system operations are resumed at the new metadata server.

Abstract: A service workflow agent associated with a particular service of a provider network identifies a repository in which workflow descriptors indicative of tasks to be performed by the service are stored. In response to determining that a modification has been applied at one such repository, the agent examines a particular workflow descriptor stored in the repository. The agent initiates an attempt to implement a first task indicated in the descriptor. Subsequently, the agent updates the descriptor in accordance with an optimistic concurrency control technique to indicate a status of the first task.

Abstract: Techniques are described for generating a hierarchical group based on a set of data. In one example, a method includes classifying two or more data items from a set of data with respect to a library of ontological concepts. The method further includes classifying the two or more data items with respect to lexical correlations between the two or more data items. The method further includes generating a hierarchical group in which the two or more data items are partitioned into one or more hierarchical partitions based at least in part on the classifying with respect to the library of ontological concepts and the classifying with respect to the lexical correlations, wherein each of the one or more hierarchical partitions comprises the two or more data items.

Abstract: System, methods, and user interface for searching documents related to resumes or job descriptions as a special type of unstructured data. The methods automatically transform a source document such as a resume or job description into a search query, and retrieve target documents matching the most important contents in the source document without requiring a user to open and read the source document and write a query. The methods identify the most representative attributes in such documents based on grammatical, semantic, and contextual information contained in the documents for producing more effective and relevant search results than manually-constructed search queries.
