  • Patent number: 6582273
Abstract: A music box transmission mechanism for a music box includes a first rotating member having a power device and rotating in one direction, a second rotating member having a wavy track and rotating in an opposite direction to that of the first rotating member, a limiting frame fixed on the first rotating member, and a moving members limited in the limiting frame, disposed on the wavy track of the second rotating member and moving up and down upon moving with the first rotating member. Furthermore, when the first rotating member and the second rotating member engage with each other and rotate in opposite directions, a plurality of movable ornaments respectively limited in special frames fixed on the first rotation member are disposed on an asymmetric wavy track of the second rotating member and move up and down smoothly.

  • Patent number: 6386937
Abstract: A magnetically coupled toy system having two toy components such as a doll and nursing bottle is shown. The nursing bottle contains a motor-driven rotating permanent magnet in the nipple portion. A second permanent magnet is mounted in a flexible region around the mouth of a doll. When the nipple containing the rotating magnet is placed in proximity with the mouth of the doll, relative motion between the magnets imparts motion to the mouth and lip regions of the doll.

  • Patent number: 6077081
Abstract: A firefighting training apparatus is provided for simulating the pumping of water through various long lengths of hose to train firefighters to deliver a proper amount of water through the fire hose. The apparatus includes a disk having one or more apertures therethrough. The one or more apertures permit the passage of water through the disk while providing resistance to the water to simulate the resistance encounted by water flowing through a long length of fire hose. The firefighting training apparatus is used by placing the disk within the flow of water through the fire hose. A firefighter can practice delivering a proper amount of water through a fire hose to a nozzle without the need of using a long length of fire hose.
