Abstract: This invention relates to a discharge device of the dispenser gun type, which is suitable in particular for discharging semi-solid materials such as e.g. bone replacement materials. The discharge device comprises an adapter (400) which is removably attached to a main body (110) of the discharge device. A fastening structure for attachment of a container (300) is formed on the adapter substantially along a proximal direction (C) contrary to the feed direction (A). As a result various types of containers can be fastened to the machine without the need to change the mechanism of the device. The container can be provided on both ends with identical external threads and can be closed by closure caps in order to enable intuitive handling. In order to improve access to points which are difficult to reach, the container may be in the form of a curved pipe or may be formed flexibly. The piston rod (200) of the discharge device is then also formed flexibly.
Abstract: A cartridge is provided having at least one reception chamber (2), which extends in the longitudinal direction, for a medium to be dispensed, having a head part (4), a base part (6) and a cartridge wall (3) which bound the reception chamber (2), with the head part (4) having an outlet (5) for the medium. Abstract: A system for dispensing or and/or creating a mixture of water and a personal care liquid (PC), such, as soap, shampoo, antibacterial liquids, disinfectant liquids, liquid dishwashing detergents, or other sanitization fluids. The system, in one embodiment, is used in conjunction with a faucet that is mounted adjacent a washbasin to dispense the mixture. In an embodiment, a mixing unit is included in the system that comprises a venturi and a pressure compensating control device. Abstract: Spray color dispensing devices and associated systems and methods are disclosed. Color dispensing devices in accordance with certain embodiments include colorant contained in a pressure vessel, a pressure vessel holder including an attachment mechanism and an actuator system, and a control cable leading to a remote trigger controller. The remote trigger controller may be thumb operated or have a push button design, both of which may include a trigger locking device. There may be a deflector near the spray nozzle. The holder and actuator may allow only specifically designed pressure vessels. Also the pressure vessel may be insulated and/or heated to allow the color dispensing device to be used in cold environments.

Abstract: A liquid dispensing system for use with a bag having a pre-attached spigot includes a cavity arranged to receive the bag of liquid. A spigot-recess is configured to engage the spigot of the bag of liquid. A top plate assembly is locatable at or near the top of the system, the top plate assembly including a pressure plate arranged to apply a downward force on the bag of liquid. Abstract: An adhesive dispensing system is configured to automatically reduce the temperature of adhesive material to reduce degradation of the adhesive caused by holding the adhesive at an application temperature during periods of low throughput. To this end, a controller of the system operates a heater unit to maintain a unit set point temperature to heat and melt adhesive until a set threshold time has elapsed since the most recent supply of adhesive to the system by a fill system. Once the time elapsed since the most recent supply of adhesive exceeds the set threshold time, the heater unit is reduced in temperature to reduce the temperature of adhesive. This reduction is temperature is large enough to minimize degradation and outgassing but small enough to enable rapid warm-up times after a new supply of adhesive occurs.

Abstract: There is provided a closure system for resealing a caulking tube nozzle of a caulking tube, the caulking tube nozzle having a straight cylindrical portion located near the caulking tube and a frusto-conical end portion located away from the caulking tube, the closure system comprising a hollow adaptor adapted to be removably secured to the caulking tube nozzle, the hollow adaptor comprising a first open end for sealingly receiving the caulking tube nozzle, a second open end and a passageway extending therebetween; and a plug for sealingly engaging the second open end to prevent caulking from exiting the passageway through the second open end.
