  • Patent number: 6619892
Abstract: A positional adjusting mechanism for a cutting insert in a tool for chip removing machining, preferably a milling cutter. The positional adjusting mechanism includes a hole formed in the tool body adjacent to the cutting seat which receives the cutting insert. A slotted bushing is mounted in that hole. An adjusting screw is received in the bushing to expand an upper end of the bushing. In the mounted state of the bushing in its hole, contact occurs between an upper part of the bushing and a support surface of the tool body which urges the bushing laterally in its hole to eliminate lateral play and thus stabilizes the bushing.

  • Patent number: 6497605
Abstract: The operater controlled bilingual or multilingual toy is a toy, such as a doll, with a programmable controllable voice synthesizer. The circuit of the toy, when activated, synthesizes a first random phase selected from a bank of phrases. When activated a second time the circuit of the toy will reproduce that first phrase as a translated phrase in a second language. After a specified elapse of time, or a continued reactivation within a specified period of time, this process is repeated by the choice of a second, third, and so forth randomly accessed phases. Each of the phrases is followed by a translation of that phases. If neither the manual switch or a second motion switch is operator activated within a predetermined time, the toy will turn itself off.

  • Patent number: 6439954
Abstract: A weight transferring sled toy for simulating a weight transfer sled used in truck and tractor pulls. The weight transferring sled toy includes a main body portion that has a main body base and a pair of tracks that extend upward from the main body base. A pair of wheels are coupled to a rear portion of the main body portion. An axle extends between the wheels and is coupled to the rear portion of the main body portion. An axle gear is coupled to a medial portion of the axle. A bar extends between a forward portion of the tracks. A drive chain extends between the bar and the axle gear such that rotation of the axle gear rotates the drive chain. A weight sled is positionable on the tracks. The weight sled has a hook member for engaging the drive chain whereby the weight sled is moved along the tracks when the wheels rotate and the hook member is engaged to the drive chain.

  • Patent number: 6368112
Abstract: A sky diving training device for training a student to assume the correct position for free fall. The device has a platform mounted on a swivel. The student lies face down on the platform with his shoulders on a steering bar. When the student diver allows one shoulder to drop, the device begins rotating in a predetermined direction. When the student corrects his shoulder position, the device stops rotating, however if the student over corrects the shoulders, the device begins rotating in the opposite direction. The rotation simulates what happens in a free fall if the diver allows one shoulder to drop even slightly.

  • Patent number: 6206699
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an activity book designed to make reading more enjoyable and educational for young readers. The activity book of the present invention comprises at least one illustrated page with at least one opening on the page through which a moldable material such as modeling clay is forced or extruded by the reader as through a die. The moldable material is forced through the opening(s) by the reader compressing the illustrated page against an area located on a hard flat surface such as a table or another page of the book. The moldable material passing through the opening(s) completes the illustration on the page. The shape of the opening(s) compliments the illustration and facilitates the completion of the illustration when a moldable material is extruded through the opening.
