Abstract: A circuit emulator includes emulation resources programmed to emulate a circuit, a clocking system for clocking logic implemented by the emulation resources, a resource interface circuit, a logic analyzer, and a debugger. The resource interface circuit supplies input signals to the emulation resources, stores data representing behavior of signals generated by the emulation resources produces in response to the input signals and configures operating characteristics of the clocking system. Upon detecting a specified event in the selected signals of the emulation resources, the logic analyzer asserts a trigger signal telling the clocking system to stop clocking the emulation resources.
Abstract: The present invention is directed towards systems and methods for simulating and analyzing viscoelastic fluid flow. The fluid flows through a channel and is ejected from a channel. The fluid has an interface between a first fluid and a second fluid. The method includes performing finite difference analysis and using a level set projection method to solve equations governing the viscoelastic flow of the fluids through the channel. The equations governing the viscoelastic flow include an azimuthal velocity term that is an approximate description of the azimuthal flow of the fluid. The equations governing the viscoelastic flow also include an approximation of the stress experienced by the fluids being simulated. The equations governing the viscoelastic flow include an advection term that includes an azimuthal velocity term. The finite difference analysis used to solve the governing equations includes a second-order Godunov type upwind scheme to update the advection terms over time.
Abstract: A method is provided for designing a product. The method may include obtaining data records relating to one or more input variables and one or more output parameters associated with the product; and pre-processing the data records based on characteristics of the input variables. The method may also include selecting one or more input parameters from the one or more input variables; and generating a computational model indicative of interrelationships between the one or more input parameters and the one or more output parameters based on the data records. Further, the method may include providing a set of constraints to the computational model representative of a compliance state for the product; and using the computational model and the provided set of constraints to generate statistical distributions for the one or more input parameters and the one or more output parameters, wherein the one or more input parameters and the one or more output parameters represent a design for the product.
