Abstract: An in-grade light fixture is described herein. The in-grade light fixture has a main housing having an open top end with a lens covering the open top end. A side car splice compartment is adjacent to the lens along an upper portion of the housing. A hydraulic isolation chamber extends vertically downward from the splice compartment to a receptacle which is an electrical connection to a lamping module contained within the housing. A ballast may be utilized for proper supply of power to the lamp if a non-incandescent lamp is utilized. The hydraulic isolation chamber is filled with the potting material and prevents wicking of moisture through the receptacle into the main housing.

Abstract: A surface light source device comprises a light guide plate 15 having a back face 15E opposite with an emission face, the back face 15 being provided with a great number of micro-reflectors 19 and ridge-like projections 20. A U-shaped fluorescent lamp 14 is disposed along a plurality of end faces 15D, 15E and 15C. Light which is introduced into the light guide plate 15 through the end faces 15D and 15E is direction-converted by the micro-reflectors 19 to be directed to a generally frontal direction end emitted from the emission face. Each micro-reflector 19 realizes direction-conversion mainly through successive double inner-reflections at a pair of slopes. Light introduced into the light guide plate 15 through the end face 15C, which extends in a direction generally perpendicular to the end faces 15D and 15E, is direction-converted by the ridge-like projections 20 having a pair of slopes 20A, 20B to be directed to a generally frontal direction end emitted from the emission face.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a patterned frame of a lighting string, which includes several similar patterned frames with different dimensions. Each of the patterned frames can be independently use for connecting with the bulb of the lighting string as a decoration. Every patterned frame can be assembled as a single patterned frame for providing a various decorative display.
Abstract: There is provided an illuminated mounting system for storing a small, domestic type fire extinguisher in a manner allowing quick location and retrieval in the event of a fire. A rear section of a housing is plugged into a convenient electrical outlet and a fire extinguisher is mounted thereon. In a first embodiment, a front section of the housing, containing an illuminating beacon/nightlight and a rechargeable flashlight, hinges closed to secure the fire extinguisher in place. The mount/locator may be used as a flashlight either with or without the fire extinguisher in place. In a second embodiment, the illuminating beacon/nightlight and a rechargeable flashlight plug into a receptacle in the rear housing allowing use of the flashlight without disturbing the fire extinguisher. The second embodiment may also have one or more supplementary outlets which replace or supplement the receptacle into which the mount/locator is plugged.
