  • Patent number: 5692625
Abstract: This invention relates to a rack for transporting, storing and dispensing bales of manufactured rolled goods. The folding transportation rack and product delivery system prevents damage to the bales during transportation and permits removal of the product from the bale directly from the rack. The rack is collapsible and includes a base with end frames pivotally attached to the base. Side support members are attached to the end frames when the end frames are in an extended position. Cam fixtures are aligned on either of the opposing frames or an opposing side support members to vertically secure both long core and short core bales of rolled goods. The racks are interchangeable and allow the stacking of several racks while holding bales of material. The present invention also permits the dispensing of the material directly from the storage rack.

  • Patent number: 5690157
Abstract: A improved folding shower door assembly and related method of manufacture therefor are disclosed in which rigid panels with living hinges therebetween are supported by a horizontal track, with the shower door assembly mating at both sides thereof by removably inserting plastic closure channels at the sides of the shower door into retaining members mounted on opposing walls. The shower door assembly consists essentially of a plurality of semi-rigid panels which may be molded together in a single molding operation or by assembling panels together, with living hinges being located intermediate each adjacent pair of semi-rigid panels. A bathtub trim member located on top of the outer lip of the bathtub functions to retain the bottom edge of the shower door assembly, thereby preventing it from moving out over the edge of the bathtub and retaining water within the bathtub.

  • Patent number: 5671613
Abstract: A gem setting includes a base and prongs. Each of the prongs has a notch shaped for holding a portion of a gem girdle, such that when a gem having a crown is set into the setting, the upper portion of the notch extends over the crown of the gem. Each prong also has an upper part above the notch, which may be permanently bent over the crown of the gem to secure the gem in the setting. A method of setting a gem in the setting includes stabilizing the gem at a fixed location, and then moving the gem and setting together, without permanently bending the prongs, until the gem positioned within the setting such that, if the gem and setting together are placed in an upside down position, the gem will not fall out of the setting. Next, the upper part of each prong is permanently bent over the crown of the gem, to thereby secure the gem in the setting.
