Abstract: An adaptor assembly for use in a dispenser for a replaceable fluid container comprising a fluid reservoir and a fluid pump. The adapter assembly is used in conjunction with the dispenser to allow a use of a fluid container having a pump being actuated by laterally compressing it. The adaptor assembly comprises an actuation part being movable, when mounted in the dispenser, and comprises a first contact surface for abutting against the user actuator and a second contact surface for abutting against the pump. The adaptor assembly also comprises a first connecting support for removably connecting the actuation part to the dispenser and/or the fluid dispensing package mounted in the compartment. A fluid dispensing system including the adaptor assembly is also disclosed.

Abstract: A vapor deposition apparatus is provided. The vapor deposition apparatus includes a tank for providing a liquefied material, a first unit having an alterable first volume, the first unit including a first actuator and including a first line to be in fluid communication with the tank. Further, the vapor deposition apparatus includes a second unit having an alterable second volume, the second unit including a second actuator and including a second line to be in fluid communication with the tank. The vapor deposition apparatus includes an evaporation arrangement, the evaporation arrangement being in fluid communication with the first unit and the second unit. The first actuator and the second actuator are configured to alternatingly provide a force to the alterable first volume and the alterable second volume for providing the liquefied material to the evaporation arrangement.

Abstract: Two sub-methods are used together to produce a nozzle unit for a liquid dispenser. The methods include adding a nozzle plate into a nozzle channel of a nozzle unit using an assembly tool which elastically expands the nozzle channel. The assembly tool is inserted in the nozzle channel and expands same, thus moving the nozzle plate into its final position where it remains after the assembly tool is removed. The methods also include attaching a filter to a nozzle unit carrier. In a preparation step, a flat filter material is positioned on the end face of the carrier. Only after the filter material is positioned and a connection of the filter material to the end face is established, a separation process is carried out by which the filter material is cut to surround the end face. The filter material positioned on the end face and cut in situ remains.

Abstract: A fuel contamination detection system includes a fuel quality analyzer, a multiway valve, and a controller. The multiway valve includes a first inlet, a second inlet, and an outlet. The multiway valve also may include a switching device. The controller is electrically coupled to the analyzer. The controller may be coupled to the switching device, if present. Fuel is flowed through the fuel quality analyzer and an output current is measured to determine whether the fuel includes impurities. The controller is operable to signal a fuel dispensing system to dispense fuel if the fuel is sufficiently clean or cease dispensing fuel if the fuel is impure.

Abstract: A foam dispenser utilizing components made from the same or similar materials that can be recycled in a single recycling process or stream includes a plastic spring system acting on spring cones formed in a piston rod and an accumulator, an air valve having multiple flanges to facilitate the flow of air into and out of the foam dispenser, and a liquid piston configured to improve the control of liquid flow through the foam dispenser and which is more easily manufactured.

The dispenser can have a spray trigger underneath the carry loop and a protruding roll stop. It can be sized to fit within a cylindrical cardboard tube configured to hold paper towels. A paper-towel holder can support and engage a liquid dispenser.

Abstract: A drinking container has a lid that attaches to a vessel. The lid has a sidewall that forms a chamber with an opening. A spring-loaded door is pivotable between a closed position that seals the chamber opening from the vessel and an open position that allows transfer of fluid or solids between the chamber and the vessel. A lever has a catch that engages and holds the door in the closed position unless the lever is actuated by the user. The lever can be actuated by the user through an area on the lid that allows operation of the lever from the exterior of the container. The drinking container may include additional chambers with corresponding spring-loaded doors that are released through an area on the lid.

The container can include a first sheet of a material and a second sheet of the material. The first sheet of material includes a folded portion across a first end of the first sheet. The first sheet and the second sheet are bonded together across the folded portion of the first sheet and the folded portion of the second sheet to form a tip portion. The tip portion includes a passage between the folded portion of the first sheet of material and the folded portion of the second sheet of material.

In the closed position the treat storage cavity is not aligned with the treat dispenser opening. In the dispensing position the dispensing end is positioned adjacent to the treat dispenser opening exposing the treat storage cavity. The dispenser includes a clicking mechanism having a start position and a deflected position. The clicking mechanism deflects upon the treat hopper being translated to the dispensing position and to produce an audible sound upon the clicking mechanism being deflected.

Abstract: Herein is disclosed an apparatus and method for delivering a fluid to an individual in such a manner that sloshing of the fluid is substantially suppressed, even when the fluid has been only partially consumed. The apparatus includes a reservoir for containing the fluid and a valve in fluid communication with the reservoir. A biasing mechanism exerts a force upon the reservoir, causing it to contract and force fluid through the valve, when the valve is opened. The biasing mechanism and reservoir are housed within a body, according to some embodiments.

Abstract: A basket for securing a container to a dispenser has a device for connecting the basket with the dispenser and a device for connecting the basket with the container and a cylindrical seat for a valve of the container, wherein the basket provides a fluid connection between the container and the dispenser, wherein the basket provides a grip area for mounting the basket on the dispenser. The grip area is located on the cylindrical seat. The location of the grip area on the cylindrical seat reduces the height of the basket and improves the handling of the dispenser.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for storing, measuring and dispensing a desired quantity of semi-solid food, the apparatus being based on piston base with peripheral contact inside a rigid circular sleeve configured for storing at least 600 cubic centimeters of a semi-solid food substance k above the piston base inside the rigid circular cylinder. After filling, the apparatus is configured to enable pushing food material out the top of the cylinder toward the arm on a graduated rod until the desired preset quantity is above the top rim of the cylinder. That material can then be sliced of at the rim level for use and an included lid installed on the top rim of the circular cylinder to cover the remaining food material.
