  • Patent number: 12371977
Abstract: A plunger assembly includes a plunger body and a collar detecting assembly. The plunger body is disposed within a wellbore string that has multiple collars. The collar detecting assembly includes a housing attached to the plunger body, and spring-loaded pins attached to and extending through a side wall of the housing to bear against an interior wall of the wellbore string. Each of the spring-loaded pins momentarily extends at an annular gap formed between two pipes at each collar as the plunger body moves along the pipe. The collar detecting assembly also includes a transducer that converts movement of the spring-loaded pins into electronic signals including timestamps. A transmitter of the plunger transmits the timestamps to a system including one or more computers. The system determines, as a function of the timestamps, a speed of the plunger assembly along the wellbore string.

  • Patent number: 12360026
Abstract: A pressure-testing system for a tubular product such as production tubing. The pressure testing system includes a controller; a fluid reservoir containing a test fluid; a pump in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir; a fluid hose having a first end configured to receive the test fluid from the reservoir, and a second end configured to be fluidically connected to a hydrotest tool for the tubular product; and a transducer. The transducer sends signals to the controller indicative of pressure within the fluid hose. The controller is programmed to automatically (i) store a pressure threshold value (T) and (ii) store a pressure test value (PT) such that when pressure in the fluid hose reaches (T) or when pressure in the fluid hose reaches (PT), the controller sends a signal to divert a direction of fluid being pumped so that fluid is no longer pumped into the tubular product.

  • Patent number: 12326084
Abstract: An electronically controlled full rotary clutch controller includes a drive assembly, an executive assembly and an auxiliary assembly. The device can have two working states: directional drilling and compound drilling. When compound drilling, drilling parameter information is obtained through the main control board, and the data is fed back to a ground processing system, which transmits a control signal to the main control board. The main control board controls a rotating motor, and pushes a screw sleeve and a push block shaft on a ball screw. The push block shaft pushes a push block radially, and a mandrel shell transmits torque to a roller shell through the push block. The roller shell and the mandrel shell rotate together to realize compound drilling. When directional drilling, the main control board reverses the rotary motor, the push block shaft pulls the push block radially, and the roller shell does not rotate.
