  • Patent number: 10393386
Abstract: A system of gas burners for a cooktop includes a pair of concentric burners made up of an outer burner having a first cup and a first flame divider and an inner burner having a second cup and a second flame divider. The first and second flame dividers having respective first and second apertures to allow an air-gas mixture to escape and positioned to extend parallel to a vertical axis of the burners. The first cup includes a first Venturi element for supplying an air-gas mixture to a first chamber of the first cup. The second cup includes a second Venturi element for supplying an air-gas mixture to a second chamber of the second cup. The first and second Venturi elements are positioned horizontally along respective first and second axes, the first axis being located on an outside of an inner wall of the first cup.

  • Patent number: 10378766
Abstract: A piezoelectric lighter includes a lighter housing having a liquefied gas storage, a gas emitting nozzle extended from the liquefied gas storage, a piezoelectric unit disposed in the lighter housing, and a lighter cap slidably coupled on top of the lighter housing above the piezoelectric unit. The gas emitting nozzle is slidably received at a nozzle window of the lighter cap, wherein an exit opening of the gas emitting nozzle is embedded in the ceiling of the lighter cap to protect the exit opening of the gas emitting nozzle. When the lighter cap is depressed to expose the exit opening of the gas emitting nozzle above the ceiling of the lighter cap, the piezoelectric unit is depressed and the gas emission unit is actuated at the same time to produce a flame at the exit opening of the gas emitting nozzle.

  • Patent number: 10371387
Abstract: A cooking appliance comprises a cooktop, an oven cavity and a console. The console includes a user interface for the cooking appliance. Air exiting the oven cavity passes through a flue, and a deflector reduces heat transfer between this air and the console. The cooking appliance further comprises a back panel including a first hole. Air traveling along a first airflow path defined by the cooking appliance exits the flue and is deflected rearward through the first hole by the deflector.

  • Patent number: 10295207
Abstract: An air blowing device adapted to be used in such a manner that at least two of the devices are horizontally and/or vertically aligned with each other, thereby to obtain a uniform flow of air in the downstream direction from device to device. An air-permeable front surface (11f) is formed to the blowing device (1) at the downstream side of a rectifier mechanism, and side surface sections (11a) which extend in the upstream direction of the device (1) are formed at both edges of the air-permeable front surface (11f). First ventilation holes (70a) are distributed at the air-permeable front surface (11f), and second ventilation holes (70b) are distributed at the side surface sections (11a).

  • Patent number: 10215420
Abstract: An air distribution assembly for an oven appliance is provided. The air distribution assembly includes an air distribution manifold mounted to a housing of the oven appliance at an opening of the housing. An air handler draws air into the air distribution manifold through a manifold inlet, circulates the air throughout the air distribution manifold, and discharges the air through a manifold outlet. A variety of cooling air flow paths may be defined within the air distribution manifold and/or oven appliance, thereby providing optimal cooling with a simplified construction.

  • Patent number: 10139107
Abstract: A combustion controlling system according to the present invention provides a signal path for transmitting an ignition preparation signal SA output from a master device to a transmission line through cascade-connected slave devices. Then, each of the slave devices determines whether each of the slave devices outputs the ignition preparation signal to a subsequent device, or not, based on whether there is a flame of the corresponding burner, or not, at the time of igniting the burners, and the master device opens a safety shutoff valve on the condition that an ignition preparation signal SAo has been input from the transmission line.
