  • Patent number: 11138728
Abstract: A computer-implemented method determines a geometric feature of a section of a blood vessel in an operating region. An image of the section is provided. An adapted blood vessel model is provided via image processing for the section by adapting a blood vessel model, which describes the section as a flow channel with a wall delimiting the latter and with an axis of symmetry. A centerline of the section of the blood vessel is determined as a contiguous pixel line. A relative spatial position of the side of the wall is ascertained based on the centerline and the image provided. The geometric feature is derived from the adapted blood vessel model. The disclosure also relates to a method for determining the length of a contiguous pixel line in an image and a system for determining a geometric feature of a section of an object.

  • Patent number: 11064965
Abstract: A respiratory motion signal generation method operates on emission data (22) of an imaging subject in an imaging field of view (FOV) acquired by a positron emission tomography (PET) or single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging device (10). An array of regions (32) is defined in the imaging FOV without reference to anatomy of the imaging subject. For each region of the array of regions defined in the imaging FOV, an activity position versus time curve (54) is computed from the emission data acquired by the PET or SPECT imaging device. Frequency-selective filtering of the activity position versus time curves is performed to generate filtered activity position versus time curves. At least one motion signal (66) is generated by combining the filtered activity position versus time curves of at least a selected sub-set of the regions.

  • Patent number: 11068721
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for automated object tracking in a video feed. The apparatus receives and sequentially processes a plurality of frames of the video feed to track objects. In particular, a plurality of objects in a frame are detected and assigned to a respective track fragment. A kinematic, visual, temporal or machine learning-based feature of an object is then identified and stored in metadata associated with the track fragment. A track fragment for the object is identified in earlier frames based on a comparison of the feature and a corresponding feature in metadata associated with the earlier frames. The track fragments for the object in the frame and the object in the earlier frames are linked to form a track of the object. The apparatus then outputs the video feed with the track of the object as an overlay thereon.
