Abstract: The present invention will provide adhesive technology adapted to adhere indefinitely to a surface without leaving a residue or sticky mess after removal. The self-preloading force provided by the electrostatic adhesion enables the present invention to be used in applications where directly applying a preload is not possible. Furthermore, the combination of electrostatic forces and Van der Waals forces allows electro-dry-adhesives to adhere to surfaces where traditional dry adhesives and electrostatic devices fail.
Abstract: An elevator cover assembly having a cover pad and a trim with openings for receiving a hanging knob inside the elevator is disclosed. The trim is a separate piece attached to the elevator cover after openings are made in the trim. The trim slits formed therein are sized and positioned to receive hanging knobs. The trim is made of a flexible material that can be deformed to broaden the openings to more easily position the openings over the knobs.

Abstract: A composite engineered wood material piece, such as a floor board or wood material sheet, is comprised of a thin top quality wood material layer bonded onto a high density fiber board (HDF) material which is itself bonded onto a thick bottom substrate oriented strand board (OSB) material layer. The OSB material layer has its particle orientation in the top surface disposed parallel to the grain orientation in the top quality wood material layer. The HDF layer resists to the stress exhibited in the top layer and acts has a transition layer to secure the top layer to the bottom layer. It also strengthens the composite floor board or wood material sheet.
