Abstract: A garment or accessory is provided having an elasticized portion, said elasticized portion being free of stitches or holes. The elasticized portion comprises a fabric portion of the accessory or garment to be elasticized; and a length of elastic element. The length of elastic element is applied to the fabric by a means selected from the group consisting of direct welding and indirect welding. A method is provided for elasticizing a fabric, said elasticized fabric being free of stitches or holes. The method involves providing a stack of fabric to be elasticized; stretching and positioning a length of elastic element against a first of the fabric in the stack; applying one or more ends of the elastic element to the fabric by a means selected from directly welding and indirectly welding; moving the first fabric to expose the next fabric in the stack to be elasticized; and repeating the steps for the next fabric.

Abstract: The application discloses a display screen. The display screen includes a screen body including a cover glass and a substrate glass. The cover glass and the substrate glass each has a bonding surface and an outer surface opposite to the bonding surface. The outer surfaces of the cover glass and the substrate glass are provided with a cracking prevention layer at least in a peripheral region of a predetermined slotted region of the screen body. In a screen body cutting method disclosed in the application, cracking prevention layers are formed on the outer surfaces of both the cover glass and the substrate glass, so as to reduce the edge cracking or breaking of the screen body during the slotting and to reduce crack generated in the cover glass and the substrate glass, thereby improving overall strength of the screen body and increasing the yield of the product.

Abstract: A method for recycling plastic and manufacturing filler involves collecting discarded plastic articles, and grinding/shredding the articles up together without substantive sorting out of the articles by plastic type, color, etc. The plastic articles are shredded into shredded plastic particles which are used as filler for various consumer products, such as weight training equipment and cushions. For products requiring additional weight, higher-density shredded recycled plastic particles are added to the filler for increased weight. For products requiring less weight and/or buoyancy, lower-density recycled plastic particles and/or foam is added to the filler for decreased weight/density. Weight training bags, pet training devices, cushions pillows, flotation devices, ski racks, and other products may be formed using the filler.
