  • Patent number: 6773033
Abstract: A mobile concrete pump including a chassis (10), a rotating gear (14) for a distributing boom which is mounted onto said chassis, a pump assembly and a supporting construction (20). The supporting construction comprises two arc-shaped telescopic guides (32) for arc-shaped support arms (22) that can be retracted into the chassis and extended obliquely outwards in front. The telescopic guides (32) cross each other on different horizontal planes. Their geometric centers of curvature (36) are mirror-symmetrical in relation to the longitudinal axis (38) of the chassis and lie at a lateral distance from the edges of the longitudinal sides outside said chassis (10), behind an imaginary connecting line drawn between the rear ends (42) of the telescopic guides (32). The inventive supporting construction (20) permits large construction stances to be achieved with simple means, said stances also being suitable for distributing booms in the 50 m class.

  • Patent number: 6769502
Abstract: The clutch oil pressure (PC1) supplied to a hydraulic controller of an automatic transmission is detected. If it is detected that the clutch oil pressure (PC1) is less than or equal to a first threshold value PA when a first oil pump cooperative with a drive power source is to stop, the second oil pump is driven. Therefore, after the oil pressure (for example, PY) remaining from the first oil pump has decreased, the second oil pump is driven, and an oil pressure (PX) needed for the hydraulic control of friction engagement elements is maintained. If it is detected that the clutch oil pressure (PC1) is greater than or equal to a second threshold value (PB) when the first oil pump is to be driven, the second oil pump is stopped. Therefore, the second oil pump is stopped when the oil pressure provided by the first oil pump rises to such a level that the oil pressure (PX) can be secured. Thus, the load on the second oil pump is reduced so as to allow it to be reduced in size.

  • Patent number: 6769704
Abstract: A step for mounting in a trailer hitch which is adjustable in the vertical and horizontal positions. A joining member has displaced connecting ends sized to fit both a standard trailer hitch and a mounting bracket on the step. One or more fastening points in at least one of the connecting ends of the joining-member enables adjustment of the position of the joining member to the trailer hitch. Rotation and reversal of the joining member provides for a variety of adjustments in the vertical and horizontal position of the step with relation to the trailer.

  • Patent number: 6769701
Abstract: Methods and wheel assemblies for supporting a bag that is tilted and pulled along a surface. A wheel housing, a strut member, a spring member, and a wheel member are provided. The wheel housing is rigidly attached to a bottom edge of the bag. The strut member is mounted within the housing for movement between first and second positions. The spring member is arranged between the wheel housing and the strut member to oppose movement of the strut member from the first position to the second position. The wheel member is rotatably attached to the strut member such that at least a portion of the wheel member extends out of the wheel housing as the strut member moves between the first and second positions. The wheel member engages the surface and rotates to allow the bag to roll along the surface when the bag is tilted and pulled. The strut member is substantially vertically aligned when the bag is tilted and pulled and when the strut member moves between the first and second positions.

  • Patent number: 6763904
Abstract: A method for controlling the speed of a vehicle is proposed, where, in the vehicle to be controlled, the yaw rate or rotation rate is measured, in particular to determine the curvature of the vehicle's own travel trajectory, and where, using a proximity sensor or position sensor, at least one vehicle traveling ahead or at least some other object within a sensor's sensing range is detected, particularly with regard to an offset from the travel course of the vehicle to be controlled. By delaying the travel-course offset of a vehicle driving ahead, determined in preset measuring cycles, by a predefined time span, and by using the then instantaneous curvature of the travel trajectory, a historical travel-course offset is ascertained, one is able to simply and rapidly predict the travel course of the vehicle to be controlled.

  • Patent number: 6764084
Abstract: A lower double-joint front suspension system is provided which includes an upper suspension link and a pair of lower suspensions links for supporting a front wheel. The suspension system is adapted to provide a positive scrub radius for a front wheel when the front wheel is steered to serve as an inner wheel during cornering, which positive scrub radius increases with increase of turning of the front wheel away from a neutral position thereof. One of the lower suspension links, which is located in the rear of the other, has a connecting end portion at which it is connected to a vehicle body. The connecting end portion includes a resilient bushing which is less rigid in the width direction than in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. By this, when a braking force is applied to the steered inner front wheel during cornering, the resilient bushing is deformed in the width direction and inboard of the vehicle body.

  • Patent number: 6761373
Abstract: A basket support of a foldable stroller includes an U-shaped rod, which has two juxtaposed lateral sections pivoted to respective rear extensions of a seat support of the stroller by use of pivotal blocks. The rod lateral sections and the pivotal blocks are constructed such that the U-shaped rod can only be moved towards, and close to, upper sides of the seat support extensions to a storage position. When the rear wheels of the stroller are detached, and when the stroller is folded to occupy less space in packing, the U-shaped rods are positioned in the folded position to not cause increase of dimensions to the packing case. The lateral sections of the U-shaped rod are substantially parallel with corresponding extensions of the seat support when the stroller is folded, supporting the stroller in upright position together with the rear wheels.

  • Patent number: 6758295
Abstract: A turbine generator regenerative braking system for an automotive or other vehicle having ground engaging wheels and an electrical energy storage device. The braking system comprises an hydraulic fluid turbine generator having an electrical power output connected to the electrical energy storage device, a plurality of hydraulic fluid pumps, an actuation system for operatively connecting/starting pumping action, and a hydraulic fluid circuit connecting the hydraulic pumps to the turbine generator. In some versions of the system, a hydraulic pump, a clutch and an adjustable flow nozzle will be dedicated to each ground engaging wheel of the vehicle. In operation, braking is preferably initiated by the actuation of a brake master cylinder which provides hydraulic pressure to cause each rotating wheel with its corresponding hydraulic pump to engage. The pressurized fluid output of each pump is then fed to the turbine through the adjustable-flow nozzle causing the flywheel, and thus the generator, to rotate.
