  • Patent number: 10737088
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (10) for providing an aerosol from an aerosolizable material, the device comprising an aerosolization unit (300) through which pressure pulses of a carrier gas (60) are passed; a reservoir (100) comprising the aerosolizable material and which provides the aerosolizable material to the aerosolization unit (300) where the aerosolizable material is entrained by the carrier gas (60); a material providing valve (210) located between the reservoir (100) and the aerosolization unit (300) which opens in direction of the aerosolization unit (300) and which is opened and closed by a pressure difference between the reservoir (100) and the aerosolization unit (300) and which provides, in an open state, the aerosolizable material to the aerosolization unit (300).

  • Patent number: 10722677
Abstract: A wick (12) includes a porous molding, which has a plurality of air ducts (26) extending in the vertical direction, a plurality of upper deflection chambers (28), which connect each a first air duct pair (29) of the plurality of air ducts (26) to one another, and a plurality of lower deflection chambers (30), which connect each a second air duct pair (31) of the plurality of air ducts (26) to one another. The two air ducts (26) of the second air duct pairs (31) are each associated with different first air duct pairs (29). An anesthetic evaporator (10) includes a housing (14, 16), which receives the wick (12), so that the vertical air ducts (26) and the upper and lower deflection chambers (28, 30) form an air flow duct between the air inlet (22) and the air outlet (24).

  • Patent number: 10682487
Abstract: Embodiments of an adaptor for delivering diffused aromatic agents to a user of a CPAP machine is disclosed in this document. The adaptor may include a connector body, a diffuser pad disposed within the connector body, and at least one coupling mechanism on the connector body coupling the connector body within the air supply and positioning the diffuser pad within the airflow of a CPAP machine. The adaptor may be configured to couple directly to a CPAP mask. Similarly, the adaptor may be configured to be placed in the airflow between the CPAP air generator and the mask. The adaptor may be configured such that no modification of the existing CPAP hose, machine, or mask is required.

  • Patent number: 10420910
Abstract: A breathing mask has a mask body surrounding a cavity that is open towards one side and is intended for coming into contact with a human face around the mouth and/or nose. A valve arrangement is provided in the mask body with an inspiration valve, for controlling the flow of gas from a port for a breathing gas feed device for providing a breathing gas into the cavity, and an exhalation valve for controlling the flow of gas from the cavity into the surrounding atmosphere. An emergency breathing valve, controlling gas flow from the atmosphere surrounding the breathing mask into the cavity, has a pressure threshold, to allow gas flow, that is lower than an inhalation valve pressure threshold. The pressure thresholds at which the respective inhalation valve and the emergency breathing valve open are coordinated by the closing element being designed as a separate component of the valve arrangement.

  • Patent number: 10369407
Abstract: A fitness equipment and an automatic oxygen-generating fitness equipment are disclosed. The fitness equipment comprises a power unit, a sensor unit and an oxygen-generating assembly. The power unit comprises a belt drive turnplate, a belt and a magnetic wheel. Rotation of the belt drive turnplate drives the belt to operate so that the magnetic wheel is driven to rotate. The sensor unit is adapted to detect the belt drive turnplate and generate an activation signal when the belt drive turnplate is rotating. The oxygen-generating assembly comprises a control unit, a motor and an oxygen generator. The control unit is configured to receive the activation signal from the sensor so that the motor is activated to drive the oxygen generator to operate. The control unit may also control the equipment to switch between an oxygen-generating mode and a non-oxygen-generating mode.
