A plurality of financial transactions involving the merchant can be received during a current time period. A current payment velocity of the financial transactions involving the merchant during the current time period can be determined. The current payment velocity can be compared with a baseline payment velocity associated with financial transactions involving the merchant during a corresponding historical time period. An available capacity of the merchant can be determined, based on a difference between the current payment velocity and the baseline payment velocity.

In use, a system is made accessible to a user via a network, where the system has memory and at least one processor. Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes storing digital data representing a contract set of contract documents, storing digital contract metadata identifying data fields and associated data types with respectively assigned weights in each contract document, identifying and weighting differences between data field values, calculating distance scores based on the weighted differences, generating and causing displaying a time curve graph based on the distance scores and a temporal ordering of the contract documents, the time curve graph including a geometric shape that graphically indicates time curves and a spatial proximity between the contract documents, performing a digital geometric analysis of the time curve graph to identify whether the geometric shape indicates a lack of convergence over a threshold amount of time, in response to determining that the geometric shape indicates the lack of convergence, generating and causing displaying a notification indicating that the contract set is at risk.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for managing workflows using block chains. An entire workflow may be stored as a finite state machine on a block chain. Each data block of the block chain may correspond to a state and related operation of a workflow. Each data block of the block chain may be used as an input to a subsequent state of the workflow. Thus, any input may be used to compute the workflow even if the input is not designed to be used by a workflow. Nested block chains, each corresponding to a different workflow or different part of a workflow may be used to increase performance of computing the workflows.

Abstract: A method and system for generating an audit report is described. Structured data that represents a prior performance of a business process is received at a processor from a staging database configured to receive raw data from a plurality of distinct data sources. Test control functions are selected by the processor from a plurality of predetermined test control functions. The plurality of predetermined test control functions are configured to read structured data from the staging database and to process the structured data to determine whether business processes have been properly performed. The selected one or more test control functions are executed by the processor to determine whether the business process has been properly performed using the received structured data. The audit report is generated by the processor to include the determination by the selected one or more test control functions of whether the business process has been properly performed.

Abstract: A controller for central plant equipment obtains a model of one or more sources configured to supply input resources, one or more subplants configured to convert the input resources to output resources, and one or more sinks configured to consume the output resources. The controller generates a resource balance constraint that requires balance between a first amount of each resource and a second amount of each resource. The first amount of each resource includes a sum of an amount of the resource supplied by the sources and an amount of the resource produced by the subplants. The second amount of each resource includes a sum of an amount of the resource consumed by the subplants and an amount of the resource consumed by the sinks. The controller performs an optimization of an objective function subject to the resource balance constraint to determine target amounts of each resource to be produced or consumed by the central plant equipment at a plurality of times within an optimization period.

Abstract: A routing and scheduling computer system that is adapted to define a plurality of geofenced areas and to monitor vehicle activity within each of those areas (e.g., via telematics sensors mounted on vehicles traveling within the areas). The system may be adapted to use information regarding the monitored vehicle activity to estimate: (1) a first amount of time associated with the delivery of a plurality of parcels to one or more respective locations within a first one of the geofenced areas; and (2) a second amount of time associated with the delivery of a plurality of parcels to one or more respective locations within a second one of the geofenced areas.
