  • Patent number: 11265481
Abstract: Described are systems and methods for generating high dynamic range (“HDR”) images based on image data obtained from different image sensors for use in detecting events and monitoring inventory within a materials handling facility. The different image sensors may be aligned and calibrated and the image data from the sensors may be generated at approximately the same time but at different exposures. The image data may then be preprocessed, matched, aligned, and blended to produce an HDR image that does not include overexposed regions or underexposed regions.

  • Patent number: 11259013
Abstract: In a state in which an optical axis of a camera is normal to a surface, a relative angle of a projector with respect to the camera is set such that a marker is formed at the intersection of the optical axis of the camera with the surface. In a state in which the relative angle is unchanged and an installation angle of the camera is changed, the marker formed on the surface is shot by means of the camera, and, based on a distance between the marker and the intersection in the image obtained by the shooting, the installation angle of the camera is calculated. Furthermore, an error of the calculated installation angle with respect to a target value is calculated and displayed. Calculation or adjustment of the installation angle can be made even if the surface on which the marker is formed is relatively narrow.

  • Patent number: 11206393
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for measuring a display latency. A video capturing device is configured to capture a video of a reference light flash of a light emitter of a computing device. In the same video, the video capturing device is configured to capture a flash of a predetermined image displayed in a reference frame on a display screen coupled to the computing device. The video is analyzed to determine a time difference between the reference light flash of the light emitter and the flash of the predetermined image on the display screen. The determined time difference is compared with a reference time difference to determine a display latency, and the display latency may be provided to a user. In this manner, a display latency may be determined accurately and with readily available hardware, thus reducing the need to rely on expensive and specialized measuring equipment.

  • Patent number: 11206382
Abstract: Disclosed are a white balance synchronization method and apparatus, and a terminal device. The method is applied to a terminal comprising at least two cameras, and comprised that: when it is determined that the terminal is about to switch a camera, obtaining a first gain value corresponding to a currently used first camera; and after a second camera is started, using the first gain value as an initial value, and performing white balance adjustment is performed on an image collected by the second camera. Therefore, after the camera is switched, the second camera performs convergence by using gain value of the first camera prior to the switching as an initial value so as to perform the white balance adjustment, thereby avoid the problem of image flickering, improving the white balance adjustment speed and improving the user experience.
