  • Patent number: 11171865
Abstract: Systems and methods for routing real-time voice communication via a private network exchange. A virtual private cloud (VPC) system receives first configuration for a first private network exchange for a first account of the VPC system. The VPC system assigns a first regional exchange system to the first private network exchange based on the first configuration. The first private network exchange is established between the first regional exchange system and a first outside entity system of the first account by mapping an identifier of the first account to the first private network exchange. Real-time voice communication data for the first account is routed from a first real-time voice communication service of the VPC system to the first outside entity system via the first private network exchange based on the mapping.

  • Patent number: 11153390
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for multi jurisdictional endpoint allocation compliance. A multi jurisdictional endpoint allocation system receives a request to allocate an endpoint in a jurisdiction to an account and accesses a regulation data object for the jurisdiction. The regulation data object identifies a set of jurisdictional requirements for the jurisdiction and a set of actions to be performed to satisfy the set of jurisdictional requirements for the jurisdiction. The multi jurisdictional endpoint allocation system allocates an endpoint in the jurisdiction to the account and executes the set of actions associated with the regulation data object to satisfy the set of jurisdictional requirements for the jurisdiction.

  • Patent number: 11140125
Abstract: A method performed by a node (111) supporting operation on a Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP), but incapable of supporting operation on a Domain Name System (DNS) protocol. The node (111) encodes (402) a DNS query into a first message (601, 701), which has a format supported by the CoAP. The DNS query is mapped to the CoAP format of the first message (601, 701) based on a mapping scheme. The node (111) then initiates sending (403) the first message (601, 701) to another node (112) operating in the communications network (100). The another node (112) supports operation on the CoAP and on the DNS protocol. The node (111) finally receives (404) a second message (620, 706) from the another node (112), which has the format supported by the CoAP. The second message (620, 706) comprises the DNS response to the sent DNS query. The DNS response is mapped to the CoAP format of the second message (620, 706) based on the mapping scheme.

  • Patent number: 11132275
Abstract: An accessory communication control protocol can facilitate faster and more secure transmission of status updates from an accessory to a controller (or network base station). An accessory can register with a controller, where the controller can provide some subscription and key generation information to the accessory. The accessory can detect changes to characteristics of the accessory and generate a broadcast notification that includes updates to the state of the characteristic. The broadcast notification can also include a counter, a device identifier, and a key. According to timing or rules, the accessory can transmit the broadcast notification to the controller without the need to establish a secure session with the controller.

  • Patent number: 11133948
Abstract: A stateless queue system implements and supports a virtual room containing a content playback queue. The system allows multiple clients to listen to queued content in a synchronized manner and to modify the same queue without requiring a broadcasting client to send playback events. The system includes a multiplicity of computing clients that can add content items to the queue by interacting with an application service. The clients are enabled to add content to the queue in a number of ways, including by simple add-on to the bottom of the queue, by vote, or by direct modification of the queue structure. Upon client entrance into the playback session, data is provided to the client that represent the queue order at the time of request, the number of votes each items contains if structure is determined by vote, the start time for each queued item, and the current playing item.

  • Patent number: 11128560
Abstract: A data center failure management system and method in a Software Defined Networking (SDN) deployment. In one embodiment, an SDN controller associated with the data center is configured to learn new flows entering the data center and determine which flows require flow stickiness. Responsive to the determination, the SDN controller generates commands to one or more switching nodes and/or one or more border gateway nodes to redirect the sticky flows arriving at the switching nodes via ECMP routes from the gateway nodes or avoid the ECMP routes by the gateway nodes in order to overcome certain failure conditions encountered in the data center, an external network, or both.

  • Patent number: 11115369
Abstract: Systems and methods for transmitting near real-time geographic mass messaging requests. One example method includes receiving a geographic mass messaging request via a transceiver, the geographic mass messaging request including a message, a geographic reference, and a requesting agency identifier, and having at least one request characteristic. The method includes assigning, with an electronic processor, a priority to the geographic mass messaging request based on an electronically stored alerting authority policy and at least one selected from the group consisting of the requesting agency identifier, the geographic reference, and the at least one request characteristic. The method includes, responsive to determining that the priority does not meet a priority threshold, transmitting one of a request denied message and a request modification proposal via the transceiver to the requesting agency.

  • Patent number: 11108637
Abstract: In a wireless mesh network, a leader relay transfers Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs) to follower relays that indicate leader Identifier (ID), term ID, index, log-entry, and entry command. The follower relays receive the RPCs and enter the log-entry. The leader relay commits the log-entry to a state machine. The state machine generates a mesh architecture that indicates user-access spectrum, relay-interconnect spectrum, and relay-backhaul spectrum. The leader relay transfers RPCs to the follower relays that indicate leader ID, term ID, index, commit command, and the leader mesh architecture. The follower relays receive the RPCs and commit the log-entry to their state machines which generate mesh architectures. The relays wirelessly exchange user data with user devices over the user access spectrum. The relays wirelessly exchange user data with each other over the relay-interconnect spectrum. The relays wirelessly exchange user data with other networks over the relay backhaul spectrum.
