  • Patent number: 11870703
Abstract: In a method for configuring and managing a Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) network, a network packet is regularly captured and parameters are extracted. The parameters are submitted to a distributed learning model for matching an application according to the parameters, and a network requirement of the application is obtained. Such obtained network requirements are uploaded to a centralized network configuration (CNC) through a message transmission protocol, and a configuration of the network requirement is calculated through the CNC. The configuration calculated by the CNC is received and delivered to a TSN switch, causing the TSN switch to dynamically update the network configuration accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11863383
Abstract: An exemplary method is disclosed that facilitate the on-demand creation of an exemplary instrumented network device in a cloud infrastructure, remote server, evaluation platform, or customized testing server and to form a stack between the instrumented network device as a debug network device and a target network device. The control plane of the target network device then switches over, via a switchover operation, to the control plane of the debug network device, while the data-plane of the target network device continues to operate. Once switched over, the instrumentation (e.g., hardware or software) of the control plane or debug network device facilitates the debug, optimization, profile, and/or recovery of the physical network device, even in a live network.

  • Patent number: 11863620
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods related to a data center using a memory pool between selected memory resources are described. A data center using a memory pool between selected memory resources enables performance of automated functions critical for prevention of damage to product, personal safety, and/or reliable operation, based on increased access to data that improves performance of a mission profile. For instance, a method described herein includes transmitting, from a processor at a first vehicle that comprises the processor and memory, a request to access a pool of memory resources configured from a plurality of vehicles each having a local processor and memory, receiving, from a second vehicle of the plurality of vehicles, an indication to access the pool of memory resources, and accessing the memory at the second vehicle using the processor at the first vehicle based on receiving the indication to access the pool of memory resources.

  • Patent number: 11863402
Abstract: A system for secure management of licensing and distributing virtual network functions (VNF) is provided. The system includes a VNF license manager, a VNF repository, and a VNF license database. The VNF license manager is in communication with the VNF repository and the VNF license database. The VNF license manager is programmed to receive a request for access to a first VNF from a virtual network. The virtual network is configured to execute the first VNF. The VNF license manager is also programmed to determine if the virtual network may access the first VNF based on one or more policies associated with the first VNF. If the virtual network may access the first VNF, the VNF license manager is programmed to retrieve the first VNF from the VNF repository and transmit the first VNF to the virtual network.

  • Patent number: 11853361
Abstract: A service monitoring system executing on one or more processors may have operations that are determined by control information. Control over the operation of the service monitoring system can be exerted through the use of a graphical interface. The graphical interface may present the control information of a new or existing correlation search definition for user interaction. The service monitoring system may maintain a data store of key performance indicator (KPI) data, where a KPI value in the data store is produced by a KPI-defining search query that derives the value from machine data associated with one or more entities that perform a monitored service. A correlation search definition of the service monitoring system determines how a search of the KPI data is conducted, how its data is evaluated to determine whether a triggering condition has been met, and, if so, determines what triggered action is to be initiated.

  • Patent number: 11856046
Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques are disclosed for endpoint URL generation and management. An entity identifier may be received. The entity identifier may be hashed with a hashing algorithm to generate an alphanumeric string. A custom endpoint URL may be generated by combining the alphanumeric string with a URL that identifies an endpoint located on a server of a cloud computing system. A CNAME record in a DNS database may be updated to associate the URL that identifies the endpoint located in a stack of cloud computing system with the custom endpoint URL.

  • Patent number: 11838261
Abstract: A method performed by a node (111) supporting operation on a Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP), but incapable of supporting operation on a Domain Name System (DNS) protocol. The node (111) encodes (402) a DNS query into a first message (601, 701), which has a format supported by the CoAP. The DNS query is mapped to the CoAP format of the first message (601, 701) based on a mapping scheme. The node (111) then initiates sending (403) the first message (601, 701) to another node (112) operating in the communications network (100). The another node (112) supports operation on the CoAP and on the DNS protocol. The node (111) finally receives (404) a second message (620, 706) from the another node (112), which has the format supported by the CoAP. The second message (620, 706) comprises the DNS response to the sent DNS query. The DNS response is mapped to the CoAP format of the second message (620, 706) based on the mapping scheme.

  • Patent number: 11824721
Abstract: A method for providing a dormant state for content management servers is provided. Client devices are allowed to conduct transactions with servers when the servers are active. However, in a dormant state, the servers are not allowed to accept new transactions. Thus, by utilizing the dormant state, software upgrades can be made to one server at a time. Alternatively, all servers can be taken down for major upgrades, with the servers still operated in a read-only mode based on a file image from a point in time just prior to the shutdown. When the upgrade is completed, the servers can be returned to the active state.
