Abstract: A cosmetic apparatus comprising a self-adhesive cosmetic application guard and/or stencil provided, which comprise an upper edge, a lower edge, an extended flap, a front surface and a rear surface. The upper edge is shaped according to a natural curvature of a human lower eyelid. A texture of one or both of the front surface and the rear surface enables the self-adhesive cosmetic application guard and/or stencil to self-adhere to a users' skin. The extended flap enables grasping so as to avoid contact with areas of cosmetic application during removal from the users face. The front surface and the rear surface may comprise silica material, and may be glossy so that it firmly adheres to the users' skin without use of any additional adhesive product or material. The texture of one or both of the front surface and the rear surface a non-slip surface having a dull finish.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an applicator for applying a cosmetic composition to human keratinous materials or for adding finishing touches to makeup, the applicator comprising: a vibration source including a vibration generator that vibrates at a frequency lying in the range 1 Hz to 500 Hz, a handle, a stem carried by the handle and an applicator or finishing member for coming into contact with keratinous materials.

Abstract: Partial wig components for users who do not want to wear a full wig. The invention comprises a frontal strip 2 which would mimic a new hair line for person's with a receding hair line. Additionally strips of hair may be attached on other areas of the person's head to mimic a fuller look. A natural, synthetic resinous or rubber component or base is provided for hair strips in which the frontal portion comprising a skin toned or transparent material intended to be indistinguishable from the wearer's actual skin; weaved with individual strands of hair to compose a natural looking hair line. With time the base deteriorates with use, thus a replaceable liner is adhered to the base. Thus most wear and tear will occur onto the liner. The wig is manufactured by implanting hairs or groups of hairs in elongated strips which comprise the wig base.

Abstract: An apparatus for receiving operationally powering units interchangeable grooming units. The apparatus comprising a casing, a motor, attachment means for allowing the grooming units to be releasably attached to the casing and mounting means for allowing the grooming units to be driven by the motor. The mounting means comprise a shaft with an end portion having a protrusion located eccentrically on the end portion. The mounting means are adapted to enable the grooming units with accordingly adapted receiving means to carry out a rotational movement and/or a linear movement without gear arrangements in the receiving means of the grooming unit.

Abstract: A cosmetic hair assembly has a shaped piece of wig netting or mesh holding a plurality of cosmetic hairs attached to a correspondingly shaped layer of biomimetic microstructure adhesive (BMA) with tiny synthetic seta for adhesion to human skin. The wig netting is dimensioned slightly larger than the BMA layer to leave a slight overhanging part to facilitate removal from the skin by peeling back the overhanging part. A comb with peeler in the form of hooked portions can be used to peel back the wig netting. In another embodiment, an individual cosmetic hair assembly has a hair shaft attached to a substrate portion attached to a BMA layer, wherein the substrate's edges provide engagement surfaces to facilitate removal by peeling back the BMA layer. An applicator in the form of a thin water-soluble transfer sheet can hold a number of cosmetic hair assemblies until they are ready to be applied.

Abstract: A mascara applicator includes a hollow grip portion connected to which is one end of a shaft, the other end of which carries a mascara brush. The shaft and mascara brush are hollow and the mascara brush is flexible. An elongate flexible connector extends within the shaft and the mascara brush. A first end of the connector is fixed with respect to the distal end of the mascara brush and the second end of the connector is fixed with respect to actuating means within the grip portion. The actuating means are selectively operable to move the second end of the connector in the direction away from the mascara brush, thereby applying a force to the distal end of the mascara brush and causing it to adopt a curved configuration.

Abstract: A method and device for enclosing a portion of hair such that it is not mussed or damaged, yet is aesthetically pleasing. A flexible and elastic elongated material having a cavity therein receives the hair, and the device is unfurled to a desired length.

Abstract: A hair brush with a cleaning element for removing entwined hair from the brush before or after use. The cleaning element of the brush includes a plate(s) with opening through which the bristles protrude. When the plate is expanded, the plate pushes any hairs entwined in the bristles to the tips of the bristles where they are removed. The brush also has a post mechanism, which allows for the adjustment of the cleaning element to various intermediary positions, effectively adjusting the length of the bristles for use of the brush. A mirror is provided on the back of the brush, on the reverse side from the bristles.

The container includes a base providing a chamber configured to receive particulate matter and a cover coupled to the base and movable relative to the base between a closed position and an open position. The container also includes a sifter supported at the base. The sifter includes a first member having at least one dispensing aperture extending therethrough and a second member having at least one dispensing aperture extending therethrough. The second member is movable between a first position in which the at one dispensing aperture of the first member is at least partially out of alignment with the at least one dispensing aperture of the second member and a second position in which the at one dispensing aperture of the first member is in greater alignment with the at least one dispensing aperture of the second member.
