Abstract: Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure allow a customer or payor to select from a plurality of nearby vendors or payees when a computing device of the payor is physically close to electronic devices of the payees. Payee devices and locations of those payee devices may be identified and displayed on a display of a payor device. Once displayed, a specific payee device may be selected by the customer and an order for a product or service may be sent to the selected payee device from the payor device. After the product or service has been provided to the customer, information that confirms that purchase may be sent to any of the selected payee device, the payor device, or a payment processing computer and funds to pay for the product or service may be deposited into an account of the payee based on the confirmation.

Abstract: Prioritizing a customer service agent's responses to customer messages. In one form, an expected response time target is determined based on a time interval between sending an agent response and receiving a customer response from a particular customer. In other forms, other objective factors, such as message intervals, customer properties, and message properties, are used to determine the expected response time target. In yet other forms, a customer conversation can be automatically closed if the customer does not respond within a predetermined maximum time interval.

Abstract: This application relates to a data processing method performed by a computer device. The method includes: for each block of a plurality of blocks in a first block file of a blockchain platform, detecting a to-be-maintained transaction record in the block; selecting, from a hash tree of the block, nodes used for proving that the transaction record belongs to the block; constructing a node maintenance tree according to the selected nodes; storing the transaction record at a corresponding leaf node of the node maintenance tree; migrating an association between a block head of the block and the node maintenance tree storing the transaction record from the first block file to a second block file, the block head of the block being adjacent to a block head of a previous block in the second block file; and deleting the first block file after the update processing for each block is completed.

Abstract: Wait times at ATMs may undermine the utility of these self-service machines. ATMs are configured to provide faster self-service kiosks that allow users to quickly perform common financial transactions. However, it has been increasing common for users to have to wait on a line to access an ATM. Apparatus and methods are provided for a smart card that stages transactions by capturing the amount, pin and other necessary information on the smart card itself, before the user begins interacting with the ATM. Information captured by the smart card may be transferred to ATM when the smart card is inserted into ATM. The user does not provide the ATM with any additional information after inserted the smart card into the ATM, thereby improving the transaction processing efficiency of the ATM and enhancing user satisfaction.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to apparatuses and methods of providing automated teller machine (ATM) security. A method includes detecting, by the ATM, an intruder proximate the ATM using sensed detection information, determining intruder type information based on the sensed detection information, transmitting the intruder type information to a provider computing system, receiving an instruction to use a level of security defense measure based on the intruder type information, using the level of security defense measure, monitoring a movement of the intruder in response to the level of security defense measure, and in response to the movement of the intruder, determining whether to use an increased level of security defense measure.

Abstract: The technology described includes an adaptive probability matrix that creates a notification schedule. The schedule can be used to send reminders to users to press a physical, connected device/button, that when pressed or clicked, causes money to be transferred according to a set of rules (i.e., a “one-click” transfer of funds).

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving from a telemetric apparatus carried by a first vehicle an identity of an operator of the first vehicle and kinematic data characterizing movement and first location of the first vehicle. At least one weather condition associated with the first location is received from a source of environmental data. At least one of terrain geometry of the first location, road speed limit at the first location, vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) data generated by an instrument proximate the first location, and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) data generated by an instrument proximate the first location is received from a source of location-specific data. The data received by the first communication device is stored in a database. Data from the database is provided to at least one entity.

Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method detect and act upon operator reliance to vehicle alerts. The system and method include receiving user profile data of an operator that includes a baseline of at least one driving activity aided by activation of an alert from a feature of an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The system and method may include receiving historical ADAS alert frequency data including a history of at least one driving activity aided by activation of the alert from the ADAS feature. The system and method may compare the user profile data with the historical ADAS alert frequency data, determine a reliance level based upon the comparing, and set at least a portion of an operator profile associated with the operator with the reliance level. As a result, a risk averse driver, and/or proper responsiveness to vehicle alerts may be rewarded with insurance-cost savings, such as increased discounts.

Abstract: A computer system includes a processor programmed to process a first web page to identify a hyperlink contained thereon. The hyperlink includes a link to a second web page. The processor performs natural language processing on the first web page to determine one or more context word tokens and on the second web page to determine a context of the second web page. The processor also applies a context relevant tag to the hyperlink to generate a tagged hyperlink. The processor maps at least one of the context word tokens to the context relevant tag applied to the hyperlink and generates a transaction score for the tagged hyperlink.

A transaction may be allowed in response to verifying a user's identity.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, location-based activation of card identifiers may be facilitated. In some embodiments, an electrophoretic display card may store a set of location-specific card identifiers, where each card identifier of the set is associated with (i) an account of a user and (ii) creation location information indicating a device location of the user at a creation time of the card identifier. In response to being powered by a user device, the card may initiate wireless communication with the user device. The card may determine a device location of the user device, select a card identifier from the set of card identifiers that matches the device location, and switch a state of the card identifier to an active state to enable transaction processing for the card identifier. In some embodiments, the card may cause the active card identifier to be presented on an electrophoretic display of the card.

Abstract: A computerized method for providing an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) to a user on a display of a mobile device. The method interacts with the user to obtain information about a first payment account and a second payment account. The method aggregates parameters of the first payment account and the second payment account on a unified GUI on the mobile device. The method further monitors transactions of the first payment account and the second payment account. When a particular transaction conducted by the first payment account includes parameters associated with the second payment, the method identifies that particular transaction and presents a confirmation GUI screen to the user to confirm using the second payment account instead.

Abstract: A location-based system that is able to match job seekers with employers based on the geographic location detected by the job seeker's mobile phone and the location of the work in the job posting. This system may be used by employers to fill an urgent need, such as an upcoming event or shift occurring in days or hours. In some embodiments, the system automatically selects job seekers for employers based on a rating system for job seekers; the rating system may be based on surveys performed by employers regarding the job seeker's performance in previous job postings.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for performing a payment tracking operation. Factors, that include input, features and attributes of various customers are received and processed. The processing includes imputing, deleting and converting the factors for further refinement for machine learning. The machine learning processes the factors using succeeding layers that include random forest to categorize customers, multivariate regression to determine which factors have the greatest effects on payment. In addition, a recurrent neural network approach is used to further refine the factors and provide a more accurate analysis.
