  • Patent number: 6571916
Abstract: A fully adjustable hunting tree stand comprising a mounting base; a support member; a seat; and a platform. The mounting base and the support member axially interconnect for independent rotation about a common axis. The platform attaches to the support member at an end thereof, with the seat attaching to the support member at an opposite end thereof. The mounting base attaches to a tree of any angle, being aligned in the same angular direction thereof. The support member adjustably rotates about the mounting base and is secured in a position, which enables the platform and the seat to achieve a leveled position, regardless of what angled position the mounting base is placed.

  • Patent number: 6561257
Abstract: A collapsible automobile shade formed of fabric that pivots about a pivot point, or a pair of pivot points, and which are expandable into a shaped configuration for adherence to the interior of an automobile windshield, when installed, to prevent the entrance of sunlight and sun rays. The shade may be disassembled, collapsed about its pivotal ribs, into a closed configuration. An alternative embodiment to the shade of this invention includes its fabrication from a flexible material, that has inherent memory, containing a series of aligned flutes, which can be expanded to form a shade of multiple shaped configurations, but due to the inherent memory of the fluted material, can be contracted by alignment of its adjacent flutes, into a compact position.

  • Patent number: 6554047
Abstract: Guide track assemblies for upward acting doors include substantially linear vertical and horizontal track sections and curvilinear transition sections formed as portions of each of the vertical and horizontal linear sections. The track assemblies are supported, respectively, by mounting brackets which also support a counterbalance mechanism for the door. The curvilinear transition track sections are formed integral with the vertical and horizontal track sections and may have a constant or elliptical radius of curvature, the latter to provide clearance for the guide track assemblies in low headroom installations. The mounting brackets are formed of stamped metal plates which are folded to provide a first flange for attaching the mounting bracket to a structural wall, a support part including a flag portion for connection to the guide track sections and a second flange for connection to a door counterbalance mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6516859
Abstract: Foam core vanes useful with door or window coverings and which may be hung vertically or horizontally include an outer fabric cover and an inner foam core. Preferably, the vanes are shaped to have a blunt forward edge, gently curving sides and a pointed rear edge, resembling an air foil. A method of preparing the vanes includes injecting foam producing chemicals into a fold of the outer fabric as the fabric enters a mold section comprised of upper and lower molds moving along tracks. The foam expands to press the fabric into the mold and cures during travel through the mold section. A rotary knife cuts the foam core vanes to the desired length. Preferred foams are urethane and polyisocyanurate foams.
