Abstract: Embodiments of the invention broadly contemplate systems, methods, apparatuses and program products providing a faceted search tool enabling a user to enter a natural language query that contains representative terms the user wants to search for, and a convenient interface display in which the facets which contain the searched values are automatically resolved and presented.

Abstract: One embodiment is directed to a method for controlling access to a domain. The method includes receiving a request from a workbook process for a shared lock on a primary lock file and a secondary lock file controlling access to the domain, and providing the shared lock(s) when there is not an exclusive lock. While the workbook process is still in progress, the method may further include receiving a request from a batch process for an exclusive lock on the primary lock file, immediately providing an exclusive lock on the primary lock file the batch process, receiving a request from the batch process for an exclusive lock on the secondary lock file, and providing the exclusive lock on the secondary lock file to the batch process when there is not a shared lock on the secondary lock file.

The terminal determines a plurality of terminal-specific search spaces corresponding respectively to a plurality of scheduled component carriers in a control region within a subframe. The terminal monitors a downlink control channel for the scheduled component carriers corresponding respectively to the plurality of terminal-specific search spaces.

Abstract: A query plan for executing a query within a relational database system including at least one non-relational data source is generated by analyzing expressions that reference a non-relational data source within a query for the database system via an interface for that non-relational data source, determining for each analyzed expression at least one of the database system and interface capable of processing that analyzed expression for executing the query, providing an indicator for each of the analyzed expressions that indicates at least one of the database system and interface determined to process that analyzed expression, and generating the query plan for execution of the query, via the database system, based on the indicators for the expressions of the query.

Abstract: A product search engine uses web-crawling software to index textual webpage content from multiple internet sources. The product data obtained from the web-crawling process is then granulized by parsing methods into key words, such as, words and/or phrases. These components are compared with existing key words from search queries or webpage content. Each key word includes component tags, where the component tags map each component to product classification information in the form of structural parameters; and other product information such as, URLs, product images and product descriptions. When at least one matching key word is found, structural parameters are extracted from the matching components and assigned to the received key words. A search results webpage including product information grouped by associated structural parameter may be provided.

Abstract: A query, issued to a database server, is re-written with a nested materialized view. The selected materialized view is nested within a “parent” materialized view that has one or more nesting levels for one or more nested materialized views. The selected nested materialized view has a cardinality associated therewith, which is lower than the cardinality associated with any of the other nested materialized views, and is nested at a final nesting level of the one or more nesting levels.

Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for providing corrective maintenance using global knowledge sharing. A method to provide corrective maintenance with a CM system includes performing a query to generate a ranking of fixable causes based on factors (e.g., symptoms, configuration, test). The ranking may be determined based on a fixable cause percent match with the factors. The ranking of fixable causes may be associated with one or more solutions for each fixable cause. The ranking can be updated based on performing tests or solutions.

Abstract: A system and method for mapping an input uniform resource identifier (URI) to an entry in a database. The system cleans an input URI to produce a prime URI that references an entry in a database. The prime URI is created by applying a regular expression determined for a particular domain to the input URI. Once the prime URI is generated, the prime URI can be used to retrieve information from a database.

Abstract: A service delivery platform receives a request for a catalogue. The system obtains subscriber-specific multi-media catalogue entries based on profile information stored with the service delivery platform. The system sends the subscriber-specific catalogue entries along with service details of the subscription back to the subscriber.

Abstract: Disclosed is a computer readable medium containing a program product provided for the development, receipt, storage, and presentation of the data necessary for delivery of quality assurance test activities. In particular, the program product allows users to create quality assurance testing criteria and procedures; define, document, and approve specific actions and allocate unique categorization codes. The program product includes a module for the creation and storage of predefined text and image elements for the provision of enterprise wide knowledge sharing. The program product applies calculations to consolidate and convert data into statistical reports utilizing a variety of user-defined criteria, including but not limited to component descriptor, quality criteria, time period and manufacturer.

Abstract: In an embodiment, Partition Change Tracking (PCT) refresh is performed by using join dependencies on partitioning columns to derive and fill in identifiers of rows and/or partitions containing the rows in the refresh expressions. In an embodiment, the join dependencies that form the Materialized View's (MV's) query definition and the partitioning predicate of the table are used to automatically generate a statement which is run in order to derive and fill in identifiers of the rows and/or partitions that are being changed. The identifiers are then plugged into the refresh expression, and the refresh expression is run. Running the refresh expression causes the rows identified to be refreshed.

Abstract: A computer system architecture and process transforms the organizing principles of business data management seen in traditional or common place settings across disparate data stores into an object-semantic model. The transformation is implemented in a transitory, managed risk implementation approach for data access migration. This approach will enable data agility and will move data storage closer to information storage, while supporting the rapid development of business capabilities. This approach will bridge the gaps between relational database/file based storage (less expressive) and object-semantic representation (more expressive). This process/method will connect information residing in legacy data structures such as relational database/file based storage on disk drives to instances populating an expressive object-semantic model in persistent grid based memory.

An indication is received that a retention management service is desired to be performed with respect to an external content item. A reference object is created that represents the external content item. The reference object is used to perform the retention management service with respect to the external content item.

Abstract: A way of detecting a watermark present in a structured result, such as a search result or a machine translation. The structured result is received and a hash is computed based upon at least part of the result. The resulting bit sequence is tested against a null hypothesis that the bit sequence was generated by a random variable with a binomial distribution with a parameter p=0.5. The result of this test is compared to a significance level, which indicates whether the structured result is watermarked.

Abstract: A generic and expandable document aspect system and method for searching, browsing, presenting, and interacting with data assembled from document contents and related external data is provided. New varieties of document aspects are added to existing installations and can be accessed by users without requiring upgrades to server or clients, for example by using plug-in technology.

Abstract: A way of generating a watermark for a structured result, such as a search result or a machine translation. A hash function is used to generate a bit sequence for each of a plurality of structured results. A ranking score is generated for each resulting bit sequence. The ranking score can be based on the detectability of the bit sequence compared to a randomly-generated bit sequence and the quality of each of the structured results. A structured result is selected as the watermarked structured result based upon the ranking score.

A media object being played by a user may be marked by creating a mark object, the mark object being used to determine the metadata to be used to obtain additional information related to the mark.
